How to Get Sharpness 1000 Enchantment in Minecraft Bedrock

Can You Get Sharpness 1000 in Minecraft Bedrock Edition? 

Technically, you can't get an item with a Sharpness 1000 enchantment in Minecraft Bedrock edition. However, you can mimic a level 1000 Sharpness enchantment by giving yourself the strength effect with some command blocks. There's also the possibility of using a mod to get Sharpness 1000 enchanted items alongside other ones like the best pickaxe enchantments in the Bedrock edition as well!

How to Get a Sharpness 1000 Sword in Minecraft Bedrock

We'll be using command blocks to get a Sharpness 1000 enchantment on a sword, but to get them you need to have enabled cheats in your world. To enable cheats, just enter a Minecraft world and in-game pause menu go to "Settings". Then within the "Game" tab on the left turn on "Activate Cheats". 

If the cheats are already enabled in your world, then don't worry about the above. Here's how to get a Sharpness 1000 enchanted sword in Minecraft:

1. Open the chat box by pressing T, type "/give @p command_block", and hit Enter
2. Place and right-click your first command block. On the left under "Block Type" set it to "Repeat"
3. Under "Condition" set it to "Unconditional"
4. Under "Redstone" set it to "Always Active"
5. On the right under "Command Input" type in the following: "/effect @a[tag=sharp] strength 1 30 true"
6. Exit the command block
7. Press T again, in the chat box type in "/tag @s add sharp", and hit Enter
   
8. Get a wooden sword in your hand to deal massive amounts of damage

In the chat on the left, you may notice a lot of repeating text covering your screen. To disable that, simply type "/gamerule commandblockoutput false" in the chat box and press Enter. You can use a second command block to disable this if you're too lazy to open the chat box!

This can work with any sword since you're only increasing your strength. But the issue is that it will only work if you're around the command block. If you get far away from the command block, then the strength effect won't work. Even if you try to add some of the other best Minecraft sword enchantments, this will remain the same.

How to Get Sharpness 1000 Enchanted Items Using a Mod

Instead of using one or two command blocks, you can also get Sharpness 1000 enchanted items by using a mod. In particular, we'll be using the Max Enchants addon. To install it, just download the mod pack and open it with Minecraft running in the background. You should instantly see something appear saying "Importing" in the game!

Installing the mod is quick and very similar to getting Minecraft Education edition mods. You'll also need to have cheats enabled for the world as well! With that set, here's how to get Sharpness level 1000 enchanted items in Minecraft:

1. Go to create a new world
2. Get in the "Behavior packs" tab on the left side
3. Click on "Activate" to enable the "Max Enchants" mod
4. Get in the "Cheats" tab on the left side and turn them on at the top
5. Go ahead and create that new world
6. Press T to open the chat box, type in "/function Max", and hit Enter
7. You'll get 2 shulker boxes, in one of them are swords enchanted with Sharpness 1000
