10 Pokemon Best Against Ghost Type Pokemon [Ranked]

1 /10

Hisuian Zoroark

Hisuian Zoroark is the best Pokemon to counter Ghost types. The Hisuian regional variant of one of the best fox Pokemon Zoroark, Hisuian Zoroark and its pre-evolution have the unique type combination of Normal and Ghost type.

This is a big deal, especially when it comes to fighting against Ghost type Pokemon, as Hisuian Zoroark is completely immune to three types, Normal, Fighting, and Ghost, negating Ghost type's weakness to Ghost type attacks.

Hisuian Zoroark

It's usually risky business to bring a Ghost type Pokemon to counter their fellow Ghost Pokemon, since Ghost is one of Ghost's two weaknesses, but Hisuian Zoroark nearly sidesteps the whole issue.

But not only does Hisuian Zoroark look fantastic and get a useful immunity, it has access to a range of Dark type moves and Ghost type attacks for taking on its fellow Ghost types.

Hisuian Zoroark gets STAB for powerful Ghost type moves like Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball, as well as its signature move, Bitter Malice.

With more than one immunity, excellent options to deal double damage to Ghost type Pokemon, and an absolutely snazzy design, Hisuian Zoroark is the best choice for taking on Ghost Pokémon.

Obstagoon

Obstagoon is a fantastic option when fighting Ghost type Pokémon because its Normal type makes it immune to Ghost type attacks, while its Dark type gives it STAB with Dark type moves.

But it even gets access to Shadow Claw, a strong Ghost type move, meaning it can hit Ghost type Pokemon for both Ghost type weaknesses.

Obstagoon

Obstagoon evolves from Galarian Linoone and has a totally awesome punk-rock look to go with its fantastic utility against Ghost type Pokemon. But it had better watch out for Fighting type attacks, as it has a double weakness!

But Obstagoon gets good options for super effective damage to Ghost type Pokémon, making it easily one of the best counters to Ghost type Pokemon.
