Open The Console
The first step is to open the developer console. If you’re not sure how to do it, check our guide on how to enable the developer console.
If your console is enabled, all you need to do is press “~” to open it.
Of course, you will need to open the console when you have the demo downloaded and loaded up! You can download your personal replays or watch professional ones if your CS2 (CSGO) match replays don't show up.
Type In The Demoui Command
In the next step, we’re going to insert a CS2 (CSGO) console command into the console.
The command we’ll use is called “demoui”.
A Demo Playback Menu Will Appear
After typing in the demoui command, a demo playback menu will pop up. In this menu, you will have a lot of buttons to work with.
You can also use some of the best demo commands to enable more options!
How To Fast Forward Replays
There are two ways to fast forward match replays. You can either speed up the replay by pressing the playback speed buttons, or you can use the timeline slider.
If you want to fast forward by speeding up the replay, you can click on the 2x or 4x playback speed button to make it go faster.
Or, if you want to skip through the replay quickly, you can always use the slider to go through it fast.
How To Rewind Replays
If you’re looking to rewind a replay, you’ll be greeted with a few ways of rewinding. You can rewind the entire replay, or rewind individual rounds too.
If you just want to rewatch and rewind a round, you can click on the “<” button next to the “Round” text or the “-15” on the left-hand side. You can also use these buttons to skip rounds.
