With more than 100's of Gods to play, it becomes increasingly difficult and time-consuming to spot the Gods with a maximum chance of winning a game. However, We developed a tier list of the best Smite Gods available by going through and testing each one of them.
These tier lists are the most useful resources to utilize as it becomes challenging to compare and select from the many Gods available in Smite due to their diverse roles and skills.
What are the best Gods in Smite?
As for the current season, the best God without a doubt has to be Ishtar. With a highly versatile kit combined with high base stats such as high attack speed and base damage, Ishtar steals the spotlight. Sadly, due to a high SPL pick rate, she is bound to be nerfed anytime soon. Other best Gods include the following:
Ishtar
Cabrakan
Thor
Baron Samedi
Mercury
Hercules
Susano
Mulan
Loki
If you are looking to pick up the best God among the many that are present for a specific role in Smite, a tier list can help you compare and choose between them.

A Tier
Not so balanced Gods. They have a huge weakness in one of their aspects which can include defense, attack, or movement speed that places them below S Tier Gods. Using the Smite Tier List
Choose gods that are mainly in the S tiers, not in the D tier, E tier, or F tier. For example, If your team needs hunter Gods, go for Ishtar. Likewise, for a Warrior God, you can go for Hercules. These best Smite Gods are essential for winning ranked games and are one of the most banned Gods in competitive play. Also, pick the best God according to the class needed from the smite tier list in order to maximize your chances of winning against an enemy God.
Please note that no tier list can be completely perfect. For example, some people would like to place some of the best Gods such as Hercules and Ishtar in C Tier or D Tier. This is because God's base stats are changed almost every season in order to balance them which gives other Gods an advantage over them. Overall, S-tier Gods and SS-tier Smite Gods are the Strongest gods that deal massive damage to the enemy team in the entire game.
That's all about the Smite tier list for the current season. Be sure to give every God a try in practice mode, especially the S-tier one, and master them to increase your probability of winning. Once you get an idea of how to play S tier Gods, you can work on mastering the SS tier Gods.
