Best Queen Nai combos, strings and tips in Brawlhalla

Queen Nai, The Jaguar Queen is a katars and spear-wielding master.

Queen Nai stats

1

The Jaguar Queen has high points in strength and defense, while her dexterity and especially speed are lackluster. 5 Dex points nowadays for katars is almost mandatory, but then we have 2-speed points, which is punishable. So whatever you prefer, Dex or Speed is a fine choice with some flaws.

Basics of Brawlhalla combos

There are two types of attacks: light and signature

2

Light attacks are used for approaching an enemy.

3

Signature attacks are used for finishing an opponent.

Every legend has the same light attacks (if they have the same weapon), but signatures are different for every legend. Signatures are also referred to as sigs.

Queen Nai Katars Best Combos, Strings and Signature moves

Katars > sSig

Queen Nai’s side sig is a fast move that also packs a punch. You can use it for strings, edge guarding or a surprise attack because the move is relatively fast. Finishes opponents at ~110%

Katars > nSig

Queen Nai’s nSig launches her forwards whilst shooting out poison in a butterfly-like hitbox. The first part hits grounded opponents into the second hit, which then packs a punch and launches them into the abbys. Very slow and predictable. Finishes opponents at ~110%

Katars > dSig

The down sig shoots out poison left and right, covering Queen Nai. It has decent speed but great range. Also very predictable. Use it for strings, edge guarding etc.. Finishes opponents at ~120%

Best Queen Nai Katars combos and strings

Katars are the type of weapon that requires you to read where your opponent is going, and in return, the reward will be extraordinary. These are just some of the combos you can try with them, but keep in mind that in real games you should mix them up to whatever the situation requires. Always have at least 5 dexterity stat with katars.

sLight > nLight

The staple of katar combos. Very easy to do, this is the first one you should learn. The reason this is so good is that it can be used almost all of the time, really good for making a string out of it and throw the word consistent while you are at it. You can add sAir into this, nAir, dLight, etc. Can work at later percentages if dash is added after the sLight.

sLight > dLight

Also a very good and reliable combo. This one is a bit harder, but still easy. The reason is you have to add a dash after the sLight. After you learn that, it's simple. Also a good string starter. Works at later percentages the same

nAir > dLight

After the nAir buff, this is by far the best katar combo. It's reliable, easy and so much more. It can be done at later percentages too. Good string starter and does so much damage. There are so many angles you can take this as well, depending on where the nAir hits. One variation of this is nAir > nLight instead of the dLight. Try it out for yourself.

nAir > sLight

For this combo you need 5 dexterity stat. On katars you should always aim for 5 dexes, it's a must. If you don’t sLight > dLight and sLight > nLight aren’t true. This is a better combo starter than the nAir > dLight version. It works to ~50% after you have to input a dash and it is no longer true. Very consistent combo.

nAir > sLight > dLight

This is a true combo. It racks up great damage and is a must

considering it is true. The only downfall is that it is only possible at early percentages. Possible up to 50%

sLight > dLight > nLight > nAir > sAir

This is one of the more complex strings but it does deal high damage. The reason this string is great is that the first two hits are true, then the third hit, nLight can read your opponent's neutral dodge. After you land the nLight you just follow it up with the nAir and a sAir. After 80% the nAir does not connect but you can do the previous attacks at all percentages because of it’s fixed knockback.

sLight > nLight > nAir

Good and very easy string to do in-game. While there are some better options, if you start with sLight this string is a good choice. Can work at later percentages if dash is added after sLight.

Queen Nai Spear Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves

Spear > nSig

Queen Nai’s spear neutral sig hits airborne and grounded opponents with two poison-like snakes. The signature has pretty good range and it also packs a punch. It is also relatively fast in the beginning but it is too slow at the end, and it kills all of your momentum. You can use it in strings, edge-guarding, or a sneaky hit to confuse your opponents. Finishes opponents at ~145%

Spear > sSig

The side sig is also a signature that packs a punch and has decent range. It also comes out relatively fast but is slow at the end and it kills momentum, but it does kill much earlier compared to the nSig. Pretty much the same usage as the nSig however. Finishes them at ~120%

Spear > dSig

A move with high range that propels Queen Nai into the air whilst shooting out one poison-like snake that is much bigger compared to the other two snakes combined. This move is great for edge-guarding or on-stage trickery, but it is super predictable so be sure not to spam it. Finishes opponents at ~140%.

Best Queen Nai spear combos and strings

sLight > dLight

This is one of the most simple spear combo-string. It can also follow up to some more complicated reads. It has a dodge window of 2 frames or more, depending on how fast you can do a follow-up dlight. Possible at all percentages

dLight > sAir

This is a combo. Good for racking up damage and is also a kill confirm. You can also use it as a follow-up for the previous combo. It is relatively easy to input, but positioning is key. Possible at all percentages.

sAir > nLight

Great combo after an aerial hit. Racks up damage and gives you good positioning. After the 80% the combo is no longer doable so you will have to do dodge reads, preferably with the sLight instead of the nLight considering the sLight can lead to more strings.

dLight > nAir

Another follow-up option after dLight, however, it’s not true. It doesn’t kill like sAir, but it does hit neutral dodges, so it is a good option if your opponent keeps neutral dodging. Use this variation so that you can continue the string because the sAir gives too much knockback.

sLight > dLight > gC > dLight > sAir

Longest string on our list. After the sAir you will get an advantageous position over your opponent, they will have to recover to get back into the ring. You can mix up the dLight with nLight or the sAir with nAir, Rec to get a kill finish, etc. Lots of variations, be sure to experiment in-game not every string is compatible with every scenario.
