Kaya stats
Kaya has pretty regulated stats, with a focus on both speed and defense. You can run speed on Kaya, but the one stance that i recommend is Strength. It’s really good as the - point on spear is not that much of a problem. She is really good at 2v2s with this stance.

Signature attacks are used for finishing an opponent.
Every legend has the same light attacks (if they have the same weapon), but signatures are different for every legend. Signatures are also referred to as sigs.

Kaya Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves
Kaya is a relatively easy legend, with easy sigs and one of the easier weapons in the game. Overall good for beginners, we rate her 1 out of 5 on a scale of difficultness.
Kaya’s bow signature moves and special tactics
Kaya’s bow signatures are definitely weaker as they kill at later percentages. So you are gonna have to utilize the dLight > Rec combo often. This does not mean you shouldn’t use her bow signatures. And they are definitely the ones that are more interesting to talk about so let us go through them.
Bow > sSig
Kaya slides, tackling her enemies right up in the air and shoots an arrow through their chest launching them back right to the blast zone. Great range, slow sig and kills at later percentages. That being, 160% with the strength dex. This one is pretty unpredictable, though so you can utilize this pretty often in the lower ranks.
Bow > nSig
Kaya slides, makes a Sova in the air that launches enemies so far. The sig is exceptionally fast.
Pretty forgivable too, as if you shoot a tad bit farther it will still count. Kills at 140 percent.
Bow > dSig
Launches a downward spiraling arrow that knocks enemies vertically just for her to strike them again to the blast zone. Good for edgeguarding. Kills at 140 percent.
Best Kaya bow combos and strings
sLight > dLight
The best combo starter. Not possible at later percentages, you can mix it up with nAir, nLight, sAir, etc.
dLight > nLight
The most basic bow combo. Racks up damage and leads into some strings. Possible at any percent.
dLight > nAir
Same as the nLight version, except you use this one to kill an enemy if you are in the middle of the stage. Possible at any percent.
dLight > sAir
Same as the nAir version, except you use this one to kill an enemy if you are on the edge of the stage. Possible at any percent. Good combo starter
sLight > dLight > nLight
The most basic “string” in the bow's arsenal. Between the sLight and dLight is a 1 frame dodge window, so it is almost a true combo. Pretty good kill confirm and also a safer string if you are unsure about going for the side-air, or not near a ledge to get the side-air kill. Possible up to 220% but after 190% has a bigger dodge window. It kills pretty early. Pretty good combo and can lead into gPs, dAirs etc.
dLight > Rec
Pretty good combo, good for all stages throughout the game. This is especially good for killing an opponent, because of the recovery. Another reason is, this is a true combo they cannot react to.
sLight > dLight > sAir > gP
The extended version of the most basic string. It deals huge damage and can give you a good position if you hit it. You can also use the dAir instead of the ground pound, depending on where your opponent tends to go after the sAir. The gP/dAir is used for edgeguarding at the end. Really useful string, be sure to practice it as sometimes it's hard to hit it right. It’s worth it though.

Kaya Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves
Spear > sSig
Kaya dashes forward, putting a spear directly to the enemies heart and punching them in the opposite direction up in the air with her wind. Great sig for 2v2’s as it is spammable. Finishes an opponent at 150%.
Spear > nSig
Kaya rises a windy mammoth from the dead, the mammoth launches enemies vertically just for Kaya to strike in the perfect moment. This is a one-part sig. A simple one at that too. But little range. It can be easily paired up in a 2v2 oriented environment and finishes an opponent at 140%. Her spear in 2v2’s is amazing.
Spear > dSig
Kaya slides a bit backward, uses her spear, and spirals it around making a wind-like circle that launches enemies just a tiny bit for her to strike them. Also a great sig ( like all her spear ones). You can use this for edgeguarding. Finishes an opponent at 150%.
Best Kaya spear combos and strings
sLight > dLight
This is one of the most simple spear combo-string. It can also follow up to some more complicated reads. It has a dodge-window of 2 frames or more, depending on how fast you can do a follow up dlight. Possible at all percentages
dLight > sAir
This is a combo. Good for racking up damage and is also a kill confirm. You can also use it as a follow up for the previous combo. It is relatively easy to input, but positioning is key. Possible at all percentages.
sAir > nLight
Great combo after an aerial hit. Racks up damage and gives you good positioning. After the 80% the combo is no longer doable so you will have to do dodge reads, preferably with the sLight instead of the nLight considering the sLight can lead into more strings.
dLight > nAir
Another follow up option after dLight, however it is not true. It doesn’t kill like sAir, but it does hit neutral dodges, so it is a good option if your opponent keeps neutral dodging. Use this variation so that you can continue the string because the sAir gives too much knockback.
sLight > dLight > gC > dLight > sAir
Longest string on our list. After the sAir you will get an advantageous position over your opponent, they will have to recover to get back into the ring. You can mix up the dLight with nLight or the sAir with nAir, Rec to get a kill finish etc. Lots of variations, be sure to experiment in-game not every string is compatible with every scenario.

Kaya is a fast-paced legend, that is a very good option if you want to learn and improve while using spear and for that fact only she is worth picking up. And if you are trying to grind out 2v2’s with an easy legend guess what; she is exceptional at that too ! Kaya Tips and Tricks
Kaya is a rather simple character, and her sigs do confirm that. Her sigs are great for edge-guarding however, so make sure you use them when you are on the edge. Also Kaya is great in 2v2’s so if you like to play ranked with a buddy and you are looking for a new legend, make sure you give her a try! (in friendly’s first ofcourse).
