Munin is a legend that has a big focus on speed and dexterity. The stance that we would be using would be defense,but there are other options as well: Speed, Base, and Dexterity. The speed allows you to get aid for bow combos, base is well good on it’s own, and Dexterity helps you with scythe strings. So it really comes down to preference.
Basics of Brawlhalla combos
There are two types of attacks: light and signature
Light attacks are used for approaching an enemy.
Signature attacks are used for finishing an opponent.
Every legend has the same light attacks (if they have the same weapon), but signatures are different for every legend. Signatures are also referred to as sigs.

Munin Best Combos, Strings and Signature Moves
Munin’s kit consists of scythe and bow. The whole kit of Scythe has zero true combos. While the bow is easy the scythe takes some serious dodge reads, time and effort put into it for it to be effective. In order to play with the scythe weapon, you have to perform strings. Strings are performed by wasting or reading your opponent’s dodge.

Munin’s scythe signature moves and special tactics
Scythe > nSig
Munin’s nSig is a long ranged signature that hits above Munin. This however makes it a move that doesn’t hit grounded opponents. Other than that it is a pretty standard neutral sig that you can use for edge-guarding strings, unexpected slide hits etc.. Finishes opponents at: ~150%
Scythe > sSig
Wanna listen to some tunes? Break from the ads? Jokes. Munin slides forwards whilst shooting out
classical rock n roll style strings and cords. Good range but is somewhat slow at the beginning of the move. You can use it on stage for strings, pair it with, a slide, etc… Finishes opponents at ~150%
Scythe > dSig
Munin shoots out a music blast whilst jumping upwards. Good area coverage, somewhat unexpected and has decent range. Mainly used for edge-guarding or on stage for trickery. Finishes opponents at ~120% if hit offstage.
Best Munin scythe combos and strings.
Scythe is a really creative weapon so use that. Endless posibilities, dodge reads, strings, etc. In order to play with it, you have to utilize it to every extent. These strings are only an example of what you can do with scythe.
nLight > nAir
There are 2 variations of this string because nAir has active input. This is a basic string which can lead into many other, more complicated strings while it also racks up good damage. Possible at all percents.
sLight > nAir
The sLight also has active input (don’t press the forward button to perform the sLight for this combo). Also a good string starter, you can follow this up with nAir, sAir etc… or use Rec for it to become a kill option. Scythe is all about creativity and unpredictability. Possible at all percentages.
dLight > sLight
Basic string that can lead into many others, you should also try to mixup your options, so that is why we selected these three strings. Possible up to 110%
dAir > nLight > nAir > dLight > sLight
One of the many complicated scythe strings. Scythe is all about mixups, so make sure you experiment with your own custom and unique strings! This is just our example, and like every other complicated string with scythe, it will not always work. So make sure you practice and go wild!
nLight > Rec
Considering Munin doesn’t have any scythe sig strings this is the next best option. Racks up good damage and is a kill option considering Rec and sAir are the only killing moves in the scythe kit.

Munin bow signature moves and special tactics
Bow > sSig
A good ranged sig that also has good area coverage. Munin shoots out musical notes whilst airborne. A cool thing about this sig is that if you use it at the edge, the notes will levitate off the edge! Isn’t that cool! You can also use it on stage for a sneaky hit, pair it with a slide etc.. Finishes opponents at ~150%.
Bow > nSig
Munin shoots out a musical “bomb” above her head with her trusty bow. Great for catching opponents jumps, edge-guarding or some cool strings. Great area coverage but somewhat lacking range. Finishes opponents at ~150%.
Bow > dSig
A good sig that covers a great amount of area around Munin. You can use it at the edge, to hit opponents that get to close, on stage for some tricky hits etc.. It is also relatively fast so make sure you use it from time to time. Finishes opponents at ~150%.
Best Munin bow combos and strings
sLight > dLight
The best combo starter. Not possible at later percentages, but it is great for racking up damage. You can mix it up with nAir, nLight, sAir etc.
dLight > nLight

The most basic bow combo. Racks up damage and leads into some strings. It is a great combo and you should practice it and make sure you get it correctly every time! Every bow player needs to know this combo. Possible at all percentages because of dLight’s fixed knockback
dLight > nAir
Same as the nLight version, except you use this one to kill an enemy if you are in the middle of the stage. Also very viable and racks up damage, semi kill option. Possible at any percent because of dLight’s fixed knockback.
dLight > sAir
Same as the nAir version, except you use this one to kill an enemy if you are on the edge of the stage. Possible at any percent. Good string starter aswell and racks up great damage just like the other options. Make sure you know this option aswell!
sLight > dLight > sAir
The most basic “string” in the bow's arsenal. Between the sLight and dLight is a 1 frame dodge window, so it is almost a true combo. Pretty good kill confirm and also a safer string if you are unsure about going for the side-air, or not near a ledge to get the side-air kill. Possible up to 220% but after 190% has a bigger dodge window. It kills pretty early. Pretty good combo and can lead into gPs, dAirs etc.
dLight > Rec
Pretty good combo, good for all stages throughout the game. This is especially good for killing an opponent, because of the recovery. Another reason is, this is a true combo they cannot react to.
sLight > dLight > sAir > gP
The extended version of the most basic string. It deals a huge amount of damage and can give you a good position if you hit it. You can also use the dAir instead of the ground pound, depending on where your opponent tends to go after the sAir. The gP/dAir is used for edgeguarding at the end. Really useful string, be sure to practice it as sometimes it's hard to hit it right. It’s worth it though.

Munin Tips and Tricks
Munin has very intriguing and useful signatures, so make sure you use them to your fullest, but make sure you don’t spam them because every signature in the game is punishable if whiffed! Also be careful not to be full of yourself when going offstage with scythe considering it is a rather difficult weapon and you will need to keep record of your jumps and your recovery at all times! Make sure you mixup your strings because the weapon relies on dodge reads!
