What Is The Lowest MMR in Rainbow Six Siege?

Where Does The Lowest Rank In Rainbow Six Siege Fit Into The Distribution?
If you observe, you’ll notice that while Copper V is the lowest rank, most of the players seem to be nearing the Gold-ranked area with an estimated value of 35-40 percent. But why is that? Well, let’s dive in to see some of the reasons that will tell us why the players are distributed in such a way:
Getting Placed Higher
The first reason could be that most players get placed higher than Copper V after playing their ten placement matches. Gold lobby is one where players have a basic understanding of the game, and consequently, it has the highest proportion of r6 players.
Most Players Stay Unranked
Another reason is that there are many players in Siege who play the game but aren’t interested in ranking up. They will stay unranked this way and won’t be accounted for in R6's Ranked Distribution.
MMR Difference That Allows Matchmaking From Lowest Rank
Most games have an MMR difference rule where a certain rank player won’t be allowed to play with another. What this means is that a copper player might not be able to play with a gold player, a gold might not be able to queue with a diamond. This is to ensure fair matchmaking for your team as well as your opponents.
R6s allows you to queue with players if they’re in a range of 1000 MMR with you. This means that if you’re copper V at an MMR of 1100, you’ll be able to queue with people with a rating of 1100-2100.
Although it's been around five years since Rainbow Six: Siege was released, players still struggle to find a place in the top tiers of the game due to its complex ranked system. However, the key to climbing up in the game is to get familiar with how the game works.
