Is There A New Genshin Impact Permanent Game Mode PvP?

If you follow a Genshin Impact leak account on Twitter or the Genshin Impact Special Program for 3.1 Livestream, it has been formally confirmed that Genshin Impact will have a new permanent game mode - a TCG game mode (Trading Card Game) that involves both NPC battles and a PvP Mode for competitive gameplay!

1

The new upcoming Genshin Impact Genius Invokation Trading Card Game and its multiplayer mode will be available starting from version 3.3, on 10 December 2023, so make sure to mark your dates!

Based on leaks, it is very likely that you can play TCG during Co-Op mode with your friends to access the TCG Player Versus Player Battles. However, the PvP System is strictly just for fun, and the TCG game mode will most likely not include any in-game rewards.

Genshin Impact PvP Windtrace Event

A majority's favorite and perhaps one of the most memorable events that Genshin Impact has held before is none other than the Windtrace Event.

2

The Windtrace Event is similar to Prop Hunt, where it involves four players. One player is selected as the Hunter, and the other three, who are Rebels, have to avoid getting caught by the Hunter within the given amount of time.

The snippets and screenshots from PvP games in the Windtrace Event went viral over various social media platforms. It gave everyone a good laugh - and if you played it before, you definitely know what we're talking about!

The Windtrace event is a Mondstadt-centred game mode, so it is likely that this recurring event will cycle into a version with Mondstadt involved. So far, Genshin Impact has run the Windtrace Event twice, once in Version 1.5 and another in Version 2.4, so if you're looking forward to trying Windtrace, stick around!

Golden Archipelago PvE Events

The Golden Archipelago made its first debut in Genshin Impact Version 1.6, and with high demand, had its rerun in Version 2.8!

The Golden Archipelago is a community-favorite time-limited area. It boasts a summer-themed map that is packed with scenic views. In its latest rerun, the islands in the Golden Archipelago had a character-theme twist, making it perfect for screenshots and gameplay recording.

Aside from the alluring visuals that Genshin Impact always serves, the Golden Archipelago always brings interactive PvE events that bring together players for a blast!

Kaboomball Kombat Event [PvE]

The Kaboomball Kombat Event was brought to life in the 1.6 version of the Golden Archipelago. You can pair up with your friends as you try to return Kaboomballs to the machine while avoiding those same balls from hitting your character!

This event was relatively simple to clear alone, and you could also play this event mode alone if you did not feel like interacting with other players.

Reminiscent Regime Island Co-Op Challenges [PvE]

The set of Reminiscent Regime Island Co-Op Challenges emerged in the recent Version 2.8 Golden Archipelago. It takes part in the Golden Archipelago islands, where players have to complete water and air challenges while also defeating enemies. You might have remembered it being similar to an obstacle course on a Time-Attack setting.

Fulfilling the side missions with your team will reward you with plentiful bounties that you can use to upgrade your characters and weapons.

Theater Mechanicus [PvE]

The Theater Mechanicus event is a tower-defense-based game mode where players can team up to prevent enemies from reaching their base. As you play Theater Mechanicus with your friends, expect the enemies to not only get more difficult to defeat, but your defense strategy must adapt to the constantly-changing restrictions that each level presents.

4

Similar to the other PvE events mentioned above, this game mode is playable in single-player mode, but it is easier (and way more fun) to complete it with your friends!

So far, Genshin Impact has presented players with the Theater Mechanicus events three times, in Version 1.3, 2.0, and 2.6. Based on the frequency, you can expect this event to come back very soon!

Energy Amplifier Initiation [PvE]

Notorious for new players, a great challenge for veterans. The Energy Amplifier Initiation event is definitely one of the hardest events that Genshin Impact has given us.

5

What was unique about this PvE event was that you could battle the event domain together with your friends. On top of that, you had the freedom to choose how difficult you wanted the domain challenge to be. The more restrictions and debuffs you chose, the harder the domain, but the more rewards you could reap in one run.

If you are one of those hardcore gamers who love a challenge, be sure to gear up if this event makes a return! Else, maybe you can play PvP modes found in other parts of Genshin Impact.

Hypostatic Symphony [PvE]

Why fight one elemental cube with your friends if you can fight three of them at the same time? The Hypostatic Symphony is an event in Genshin Impact Version 1.2 that allowed players to challenge the three existing hypostases (Anemo, Geo, and Electro) either alone or together with a team.

6

Did you enjoy the Hypostatic Symphony? If you did, you might anticipate leaks that may point to a rerun of this event! With the last of the Hypostases coming in 3.2, Genshin Impact will finally have all respective Hypostases to the seven elements present in Teyvat. Perhaps we will have a seven-series Hypostases coming our way? We will have to wait and see.

With many more events to come in the future, make sure to prepare your teams! Having a proper DPS can surely help you defeat tough enemies. Also, if you feel like your Genshin Impact is lagging on your phone, make sure to fix the lag so you can have better gameplay and an easier time finishing your quests!
