To make a diorite slab, you have to put 3x diorite in the middle row of the 3x3 crafting table. This will get you 6x diorite slabs in a while on the right side of the table.

How to craft Diorite Slab

#1 Gather Diorite

First things first, mine around and get yourself a load of diorite. Diorite is common mineral and can be found in the overworld at the elevations.

#2 Open the crafting table

Once you have gathered enough diorites you can open the crafting table. You need at least 3x diorites to start the process.

#3 Place Diorite in Crafting Table

Make sure you have 3x diorites in the middle row as shown in the picture. The process will get you 6x diorite slabs.

You can repeat the process, again and again, to get the maximum amount of slabs for your next build.

#4 Move Diorite Slab Into Inventory

On the right side of the crafting table, you can see 6x diorite slabs. Just drag and drop this into your inventory.
