How to craft Magma Cream in Minecraft

#1 Collect 1x Slimeball

Slimeball is a unique drop from the Slime mob. Each tiny slime can drop 0-2x Slimeball on death, and up to 5x Slimeball if you have Looting III enchantment. In general, a big size slime can drop up to 32-80x Slimeball.

If you’re in the Jungle biome, you can find baby Pandas. They have a small chance to drop 1x Slimeball when sneezing.

And if by any chance you have 1x Slime Block, just put it in the crafting grid to craft 9x Slimeball.

#2 Collect 1x Blaze Powder

Blaze Powder can only be crafted using 1x Blaze Rod in the crafting grid. It yields 2x Blaze Powder per recipe.

#3 Finish off crafting a Magma Cream

When you have 1x Slimeball and 1x Blaze Powder, press E to open your inventory and put them together in the crafting grid to craft 1x Magma Cream.

Another way to get Magma Cream is to kill Magma Cubes, which is a mob that only spawns in the Nether biome. You can get 0-16x Magma Cream depending on its size, and up to 64x if you have Looting III enchantment.

Alternatively, you can find 2-8x Magma Cream in looted chests in Bastion Remnants.
