Zamazenta

The very good boy mascot of Pokémon Shield, Zamazenta is also one of the best Fighting type Pokemon. This Fighting type Pokemon didn't see quite as good performance in competitive battling as its counterpart Zacian, but its strong design and great stats win it many fans.

With a very high Attack stat, and a fantastic Defense - befitting its status as the Shield mascot and as a Warrior Pokémon - Zamazenta slaps hard. Its high stats overall make it one of the strongest Fighting type Pokemon out there, too.

With access to some great Steel and Fighting type attacks, including extremely powerful Close Combat, Zamazenta has the movepool to make use of its stats. That's why it's easily one of the best Fighting type Pokemon!

Blaziken

Blaziken is a popular Pokemon with many fans, all thanks to its well rounded stats and fiery design theme. Both its Attack and Special Attack are high, meaning it can excel in a variety of roles as a physical or special attacker.

One of the best Fire type Pokemon, Blaziken is also one of the best Fighting type Pokemon. It even used to have its own Signature Move, Blaze Kick!

With its access to powerful attacks like Flare Blitz, Close Combat, and Fire Punch, Blaziken is a real terror in battle. Especially with the Speed Boost Ability which it gets as a Hidden Ability!

Blaziken in either of its forms is definitely one of the best Fighting type Pokemon. It can even hold a Flame Orb without getting burned!

Lucario

Lucario is easily one of the most popular Pokémon in the entire Pokemon franchise. This Pokemon was a smash hit, and it's easy to see why, since its simple design is immediately recognizable.

Both its Attack and Special Attack stats are high, meaning Lucario is a versatile attacker with a great movepool.

With access to moves like Calm Mind Lucario can boost its Special Attack further to make great use of moves like Aura Sphere, while using Swords Dance to boost its Attack and use its Steel type attacks like Meteor Mash. Lucario also gets fantastic moves like Focus Punch and Stone Edge.

With an immunity to Poison moves like Poison Jab, and eight type resistances to go with its great offensive stats, Lucario is a powerful Pokémon. Definitely not something to mess with!

And thanks to its Justified Ability, it gets a boost to its Attack stat whenever it's hit by Dark type moves!


Mega Lucario

Lucario even gets a powerful Mega Evolution into Mega Lucario which boosts its stats even further as well as giving it a winning new design. It even gets a priority move, Bullet Punch, to help it counter its relatively low Speed stat!

Urshifu

The best bear Pokemon, Urshifu is a wonderful choice of Fighting type as well. This Legendary Pokemon comes in two forms, each with a different secondary type, and evolves from pure Fighting type Pokemon Kubfu.

Urshifu gets a good spread of moves, including Signature Moves Surging Strikes and Wicked Blow, as well as Fighting type staples such as Brick Break.

Each of Urshifu's forms gets access to some really great moves from its secondary typing, too!

Single Strike Urshifu gets to use Dark type moves like Sucker Punch and Foul Play.

With good offensive stats and a strong design in either form, Urshifu is a great choice of sparring partner and easily one of the best Fighting types.

The cross-gen evolution we didn't know we needed, Annihilape is a truly fantastic addition to its evolutionary line. A Ghost and Fighting type Pokemon, Annihilape is the perfect, lore-friendly evolution for Primeape.

Annihilape is a brilliant physical attacker with access to some seriously synergistic moves to go with its powerful offensive stats. Slap Drain Punch and Rage Fist onto it and watch it sweep entire teams!

Thanks to its Ghost type, it's immune to Normal and Fighting type attacks, and its Fighting type makes the Ghost type removes a weakness to Dark types.

Annihilape is a great, well rounded Pokemon with a whole lot to love.

One of the fearsome Ultra Beasts, Buzzwole is a Bug and Fighting type Pokemon with great offensive capabilities and a really good Defense, too.

With its strong design, great stats, and access to some powerful Fighting type moves, Buzzwole is worthy of the title Ultra Beast!

With a varied movepool containing some seriously crazy Fighting type moves as well as some good coverage moves, Buzzwole is a brilliant choice of Fighting type Pokemon!

Buzzwole has a good mix of utility and offensive moves, including Hammer Arm and Roost, so it can dish out damage while having good recovery.

A Grass type Pokemon as well as a Fighting type Pokemon, Breloom also made it onto this list of the best Grass type Pokemon. And it's easy to see why, as Breloom has a high Attack stat of 130 to go with its unique, cute design themed around mushrooms and kangaroos.

Other than its high Attack stat Breloom's stats aren't much to look at, but Breloom gets the Technician Ability as its Hidden Ability which powers up weaker attacks like Bullet Seed. Thanks to its great Attack stat Breloom can even make great use of moves like Dynamic Punch and Close Combat.

This unassuming little kangaroo is a great choice in battle and can even use the powerful Spore attack to send enemy teams right off to sleep!

Galarian Zapdos

Zapdos is one the most well known Pokemon in the Pokémon world, but it got a special variant form in Pokemon Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra DLC.

Galarian Zapdos has a spiky black and orange design to go with its new Fighting type. Galarian Zapdos gets a quirky mix of Fighting and Flying type moves, as well as some curveballs like Bug type U-Turn.

Introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Gallade is a male exclusive evolution for Kirlia. Unlike the rest of its evolutionary line, Gallade swaps its Fairy type for the Fighting type instead.

As a Psychic type Pokemon as well as a Fighting type Pokemon Gallade gets access to a wide variety of moves.
