Dracovish

One of the truly monstrous fossil creatures from Generation VIII, Dracovish looks like pain. A weird hybrid Pokemon created by mad scientist Cara Liss, Dracovish is a surprisingly powerful Pokémon.

It even managed to win a spot on this list of the best Dragon type Pokemon!

With a fish head attached to the tail end of a dragon, Dracovish has a unique design. With its mismatched jagged teeth and clearly incomplete lower body, this Pokémon is revolting.

Its entire body is wrong, and if that wasn't bad enough, it has beady little eyes with a wide eyed stare. Dracovish is just plain ugly.

That's why it's got a spot on this list of the ugliest Pokemon. Honestly, it doesn't get much uglier than this.

Which is why Dracovish takes the number one spot as the ugliest Pokemon of all time.

Bruxish

This colorful fish Pokemon with its huge mouth, complete with fishy eyelashes and a horrifically clashing color scheme is like something out of a young child's artistic nightmares.

Easily one of the ugliest Pokemon in the entire franchise, Bruxish nevertheless has its fans. Its signature Ability, Dazzling, as the effect of surprising opponents making them unable to use priority moves.

And... well... that makes sense since Bruxish is certainly an eyeful. Just maybe not a good eyeful.

A Water and Psychic type Pokemon, Bruxish swims its way to the second spot on this list by looking like something out of a hallucinogen fueled fever dream.

Alolan Muk

Regular Muk is ugly enough, being a purple blob of poisonous goo, but Alolan Muk takes the concept even further. With a colorful tropical design, Alolan Muk is a Poison type Pokemon with a secondary Dark type.

Not content with being a sentient pile of amorphous goo, Alolan Muk also has teeth. And spikes.

Lots of them.

This is definitely one ugly Pokemon, but it's apparently quiet and friendly. And it eats trash, so that's actually pretty useful.

Honorable mention: regular Muk. Because it's a purple blob of living sludge.

Garbodor

The Trash Heap Pokémon, Garbodor is literally a pile of living trash. It's like your trash bags suddenly grew eyes and a mouth.

Just think of how that would smell!

But it doesn't end there, because Garbodor looks as bad as it smells. This ugly Pokémon even has an exclusive Gigantamax Form which appears to be based on a landfill.

So it gets even worse.

But like Alolan Muk, Garbodor eats trash, so it's at least useful as well as ugly.

Crabominable

Woolly Crab Pokémon Crabominable looks like the love child of the abominable snowman and a particularly ugly crab. An ugly crab with blond hair. A Fighting and Ice type Pokemon, has a fantastic Attack stat.

And a face only a mother could love.

This super ugly Pokemon is one of Island Kahuna Hala's Pokemon and appeared in the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime series which aside from its ugly face, is probably its only claim to fame.

Mr. Mime

Mr. Mime is just a really off putting, creepy Pokemon. Based around the real life mime artists, is just really weird.

With a face like a human baby as designed by a horror artist, Mr. Mime has weird blobs around its body and a seriously creepy stare.

Imagine meeting one in a dark alley at night. I dare you.

But not content with being weird and ugly on its own, Mr. Mime has a regional form that's just as bad.

Galarian Mr. Mime takes everything that was bad about Mr. Mime and colors it blue. Game Freak even added an icy little clown nose to complete the picture.

Mr. Mime in either of its forms is a Pokemon that bad dreams are made of, and that's a fact. That's why it has a place on this list of the ugliest Pokemon!

Binacle

At first glance this Pokemon isn't so bad, but the longer you look at it, the worse it gets.

Binacle is a Rock and Water type Pokemon which evolves into the (also ugly) Barbaracle. But Binacle is way uglier. Something about its two ugly little faces attached to a rock makes it unnerving to look at.

Binacle is technically two Pokémon stuck to a single rock, and the pair is supposed to work together to secure food. According to the Pokédex, that doesn't always happen.

Maybe they get sick of looking at each other!

Cradily

Another fossil Pokemon, Cradily is ugly in a different way to Dracovish. Where Dracovish is body horror incarnate, Cradily is just weird.

Like, what even is it? It has weird false eyes, a body that ends in stubby toes, and those... things... around its neck. Its actual eyes are really in its mouth.

This is no doubt an interesting Pokemon design, but it's certainly not anything anyone would call a beautiful Pokemon.

Cradily has had several major appearances in the Pokemon anime, including once as an enemy of Team Rocket and again as a Pokemon used by Champion Steven Stone.

But it's still an ugly Pokemon, so that's why it has a spot on this list!

Feebas

Ugly little Feebas is famous for its evolution into beautiful Milotic. Milotic won itself a place on this list of the best snake Pokemon.

Feebas is as ugly as Milotic is beautiful. It has a large mouth and deep set eyes to go with a patchy and dull pattern on its scales. This is not a Pokemon which looks like it evolves into anything good.

But it does. In the Hoenn region, where Pokémon have a Beauty score, Feebas with a maximum Beauty score evolve into beautiful Milotic. In games without this mechanic Feebas evolves when traded holding a Prism Scale.

But this poor creature is a shabby and ugly Pokémon, popular only for its elegant evolution.

Exploud

Normal type Pokemon Exploud is definitely one of the ugliest Pokemon in the Pokemon world.

With its angry face, its hollow tubes for forcing out sound, and garish color scheme, this loud Pokemon is an assault on the eyes as well as the ears!

The fully evolved form of cute little Whismur, Exploud certainly didn't meet its cute potential. This ugly Pokemon is, however, pretty good in battle and learns some great moves like Boomburst and Hyper Beam.

But it's its ugliness that gets it a spot on this list!
