Although a very expensive option, you can use Apple's Boot Camp tool and buy the Windows license for about $90 or you can also use a virtualization software like Parallels Desktop which will cost you a yearly subscription of around $80, which can the run Windows games and Windows apps.

Parallels is one of the best options in the market right now, especially for the Mac M1. Parallels also has a 14 day free trial for you to test out some of its features and determine if it supports Rocket League on Mac before you actually commit to it.

Also note that this works for both, the MacOs and Linux versions. This can be an expensive route for most players just like some of themost expensive wheels in Rocket League but, it is also one of the easier ways to play Rocket League on Mac.

  2. Click the Download Now button and download the installation file.

  3. Click on the Install Parallels Desktop.dmg and install the file.

  4. Verify that the file is safe to install and once downloaded, type in your admin password to move on with the process.

  5. After providing the necessary permissions, visit https://insider.windows.com/en-us/ without closing Parallels.

  6. On that page, scroll down a little and once you get to the Meet the Windows Insider Program section, click on the Register button.

  7. Either sign up or sign into your Microsoft Account and select register now, after which on the following page, click Flight Now/Start Flighting.

  8. Now open https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windowsinsiderpreviewARM64, sign in with your Microsoft account (if you aren’t already signed in), click on the Windows Client ARM 64 Insider Preview button, and download the file on your Mac.

  9. Once the download completes, return to the Parallels window and click on Continue, and then find the ARM VHDX file that you just downloaded, and drag-and-drop it in the Parallels window.

  10. If you want to use the Window 10 virtual machine for gaming only, select the Games Only option on the next page.

  11. Check the Customize option on the next page and then select the Create button.

  12. On the Customization window, we recommend these settings, which means allocating to the virtual machine 6 GB of RAM for Mac M1 models with 8 GB RAM or 8 or 12 GB of RAM for Mac M1 models with 16 GB of RAM for optimal performance.

  13. Once you're happy with the optimal settings which are best suited for you Mac, close the custom settings window for the installation process to continue. After you provide the right permissions, the Windows 10 virtual machine will be installed onto your Mac and playing Rocket League will finally be possible on your Mac.
