Hell Shell
The VK 47 Flatline has many cool skins, however, few legendary skins can match the sheer splendor of the Hell Shell.
Personally, Hell Shell is "the" Legendary skin for me. It screams heavy metal and brutal elegance, which I absolutely adore. I usually like to pair this skin with Revenant's Souleless Sentry skin, which is undeniably one of the best Revenant skins in Apex Legends. The slight contrast in their dark tones is pleasing and alluring in a way as if they're constantly calling to you.
The Lowrider
There are two things that I really like. Assault rifles, and G-Funk. So it's only natural that I love The Lowrider skin for the VK 47 Flatline.
This skin is one of the reasons why people consider the VK 47 Flatline to be one of the best assault rifles in Apex Legends. It's ridiculous yet charming at the same time, which is typical for quite a lot of skins in Apex Legends. The skin itself features a flame decal stenciled onto the side of the weapon. Just don't shoot it at full auto or you might actually burn yourself.
Captain's Plunder
The captain's booty, the envy of many a scurvy dog. But, of all his prized possessions, none is as coveted as the Captain's Plunder.
This skin is something else. I don't know what Respawn Entertainment was thinking when they designed it, but they hit the nail right on the head, as it's one of the best Flatline skins, and definitely one of the coolest Legendary skins currently in the game. Captain's Plunder turns the VK 47 Flatline into an age-of-sail-inspired contraption. But hey, a boomstick is a boomstick. Can't complain.
Harlequin
The Harlequin comes, bearing jests that are just as likely to kill as they are to cheer you up.
This skin was actually released in a bundle with Octane's Laughing Fool skin, which is undeniably one of the best Octane skins in Apex Legends. Sadly, it hasn't been seen in the in-game store in a long time. A real shame, as it's a stunningly beautiful skin. It features a harlequin image on the side of the barrel as well as a myriad of other engravings across the gun. Apex Legends skin design at its peak.
Chooser of the Slain
Chooser of the Slain is actually Lifeline's personal gun. So if you're running the best Lifeline loadouts, you absolutely have to include this gun.
The Chooser of the Slain skin is nothing short of angelic. It stands in stark contrast to the Hell Shell with its dark and morose tones. Chooser of the Slain is inspirational, sublime, and quite the treat to look at. Of all the weapon skins that the VK 47 Flatline gets, this is undeniably one of the coolest. It's a must-have Legendary skin for sure.
Party Starter
Everyone likes being the life of the party (if you're extroverted that is). With the Party Starter skin for the VK 47 Flatline, you'll be just that person.
The skin features a mesh of vibrant colors splattered all across the gun. The keen-eyed among you might have also noticed that it's quite similar to the Lowrider. That's because this gun is an evolution of the Lowrider. Say you have Wattson's Vaporwave skin, which is one of the best Wattson skins in my opinion. In that case, the Party Starter would look much better than the Lowrider. But that's just me.
Splash Zone
Sure, it might look fun at first glance; but this VK 47 Flatline skin is anything but child-friendly.
As far as Flatline skins are concerned, this is probably one of the weirdest weapon skins. It is however quite cool. In essence, it transforms the Flatline's usual appearance into that of a water gun. It changes the iron sights a little bit and it also gives the barrel a water reservoir. Unfortunately, you don't pump it whenever you reload, which is a totally missed opportunity by Respawn Entertainment if you ask me.
Heat Sink
The Heat Sink skin for the Flatline looks like something straight out of the Titanfall universe. Coincidentally, both games are set in the same universe, so it's quite fitting then.
Heat Sink gives the Flatline a makeover in that it makes it look futuristic, even by Apex Legends' standards. The most noticeable change can be seen along the barrel itself, which has been turned into this high-tech construct that's pleasing to look at while retaining the gun's deadly nature. Frankly, just by looking at it, it's evident that this is one of the best Flatline skins in Apex Legends.
Teal Zeal
The Teal Zeal skin isn't for everyone. I personally don't favor it that much. However, many community members seem to think that this is one of the best Flatline skins in Apex Legends.
Even though I personally don't like it, I can see why it's regarded as such. It isn't just a teal recolor, as many like to claim. It actually changes the Flatline in a way that it's almost unrecognizable. Almost. The addition of bronze iron sights and the decorations at the stock are nice. I also like "capacitor" looking things along the barrel. As far as weapon skins are concerned, it isn't half-bad.
The Death Rattle
I'm a big fan of momento mori symbology. The Death Rattle skin for the Flatline is a perfect portrayal of that.
In essence, it gives the Flatline a new look by portraying death on the sides of the weapon's receiver. There's something about the theme of death that tends to stir a variety of emotions within us humans. Some are happy, some are sad. Regardless of what emotions contemplating death awakens in you, it's hard to deny that this is one of the best Flatline skins in Apex Legends.
