12 Absolute Best Weapon Skins in Apex Legends

The Longhorn

As far as weapon skins are concerned, this is probably one of if not the best legendary weapon skins currently in the game.

In my opinion, the Longbow is the best sniper rifle in Apex Legends. Its pros far outweigh its cons. With the Longhorn skin equipped, that status is more than cemented. Just look at it. It's obvious to see that the Longhorn skin is the work of a master craftsman. Everything from the iron sight to the barrel, to the stock of the gun is a work of art.

Soul Ripper

The EVA-8 is possibly my favorite shotgun in the game. Its performance in its intended role is unmatched. And this weapon skin makes it all the more terrifying.

The Soul Ripper skin looks more demonic than it does mechanical, hence why it's one of the best weapon skins in the game right now. It has slightly better iron sights (at least aesthetically), a disgustingly cool new look to its magazine, and bone-like attachments going down the barrel. Simply gorgeous!

Dressed for Death

I'm a simple man. I see a cool sniper that I like. I press buy.

Frankly, in my opinion, the Dressed for Death skin is a must have weapon skin. It's almost the perfect weapon skin. Almost. The thing that I really like about the Sentinel is that you can achieve some of the longest sniper kills in Apex with it, so long as you're a steady shot. Now just imagine how much more memorable that moment would be if you had the Dressed for Death skin equipped.

Hell Shell

The Hell Shell skin for the Flatline is often considered one of the best Flatnine skins in Apex Legends. And that's a hard claim to dispute.

Just look at it! it combines rustic elements with a futuristic design in a perfect blend. Honestly, this is probably my favorite of the legendary weapon skins. It completely changes the Flatline's boring old mechanical look into something straight out of the mind of H.R. Geiger. And if you like H.R. Geiger as much as I do, you'll understand why the Hell Shell is easily one of the best weapon skins in the game.

Night Fury

When the Nemesis first dropped, it completely changed my opinion on burst-fire weapons. And when I saw its Night Fury skin, I knew I was in love.

You know, looking back at it, that period was absolutely hellish. For some reason, the weapon was so overpowered that it quickly became the best assault rifle in Apex Legends. Even the R-301 couldn't compete with it, and that's saying something. With that in mind. The Night Fury skin reminds me of that era. It's beautiful, yet terrifying; the same feelings you'd experience when going up against the weapon.

Rule of Law

This town ain't big enough for the two of us, partner!

According to many, this is the best skin for the R 99. The Rule of Law skin turns the R 99 into a cowboy's best friend. Honestly, this weapon skin is ridiculous. The stock has a saddle. The iron sight has a golden magazine cylinder and the entire body is covered with golden engravings. Frankly, it's more of a parade gun than a functional weapon. It is undeniably cool, however.

The Pride

The RE 45 is the meanest little gun in Apex Legends, as such, it deserves an appropriate weapon skin to go along with it. Enter, The Pride!

I love the RE 45, it's a gun that nobody expects you to pull out. Honestly, it's saved my hide more times than I can count. The only downside of the default skin RE 45 is that it's quite bland-looking. Not anymore. The Pride transforms the RE 45 into a weapon fit for a king. Better iron sights, golden engravings, and an illustrious lion's head are all part of this skin. Talk about style!

Valedictorian

Funnily enough, the Valedictorian is actually the best R-301 skin in Apex Legends. So of course I have to mention it here as well.

The reason why I consider the Valedictorian one of the better legendary skins is because it drastically alters the R 301 without changing how it operates. A stock R 301 is boring. A Valedictorian R 301 carries with it elegance, style, charm, and a load of firepower to boot. Few Apex Legends weapon skins can match how aesthetically pleasing the Valedictorian is.

Devilish Artistry

With how good this weapon skin looks, it wouldn't surprise me if the Devil himself actually designed it.

Of all the Apex Legends weapon skins, this one holds a special place in my heart. Purple, gold & black are my favorite colors. This skin mixes them all in a perfect blend that is to die for. Everything from the golden spine to the fleur de lis at the end of the barrel, to the golden skull on the side of the magazine receiver. It's just, chef's kiss.

Blood Stone

When looking at the best Peacekeeper skins in Apex Legends, we mentioned how the Blood Stone is more aesthetic than functional. Bah! Who needs functionality when you look this cool?

Everything about the Blood Stone feels foreign when looking at it. The default Peacekeeper's iron sight has been substituted with a crystalline growth. The barrel has likewise been overgrown by a strange crystal. The only thing that's remaining of the original weapon are the stock and parts of the receiver, which are covered in a beautiful mesh of engravings. Truly an awe-inspiring skin to look at.

Autumn's Dawn

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Some Apex Legends weapon skins are works of art. The Autumn's Dawn is just one example.

When designing this gun, the developers treated the Volt as a blank canvas. Every minute detail of the original gun has been covered by an art piece. The weapon's iron sights have been turned into what looks like a gust of wind. The stock is not a field of cotton, and the magazine symbolizes a rolling wave crashing into the shoreline. What a beauty!

Death Ray

According to many players, the Death Ray is one of the best Wingman skins in Apex Legends. It's definitely a "weird" gun. That isn't necessarily bad, however.

The conventional Wingman looks like you'd expect a sci-fi revolver to look like. The Death Ray looks like a weapon that a grey-skinned Martian would use when invading Earth. It's silly but charming. Probably the best part about this weapon skin is that you can easily craft it by using Crafting Materials. In my opinion, a crafted skin is worth a lot more than a bought skin. The effort invested makes it sweeter.
