Of course, now that we just mentioned the Valedictorian, we also have to include it in the list. Now don't we?

Without a shadow of a doubt, the Valedictorian deserves the top spot. It's a skin that is befitting the best Assault Rifle in Apex Legends. And I don't say this just because it's my favorite of the Legendary skins. It really is that good. It's sleek, it's elegant, it's stylish, and it's vicious, all in one package. Hence why it's one of the best skins in Apex Legends.

Unsheathed Rebellion

If you don't kill them with your bullets, the mini katana on the bottom of your barrel will.

This skin gives a lovely Japanese flare to the good old R 301. Even the iron sight gets a slight touch-up. If you're a fan of Japanese culture like me, then you should be absolutely elated by this skin. And even if you aren't, it's an undeniable fact that the Unsheathed Rebellion skin for the R 301 is one of the best R 301 skins in Apex Legends.

Dynastic Cycle

The Dynastic Cycle skin stands in stark contrast to its more rebellious brother but is no less beautiful.

Personally, my favorite thing about these two skins is that you can easily get them with just Crafting Materials. Here's how you get Crafting Materials in Apex Legends by the way. Honestly, for just 1200 Materials, they are more than worth it in my opinion. Dynastic Cycle features colors that are characteristic of Japanese art. And, honestly, this skin is a work of art in and of itself.

An Anger Righteous

The An Anger Righteous skin is a mouthful to pronounce but is absolutely stunning to look at.

The aesthetics of this skin are very "Americana." For a lack of better words. However, to truly get the most out of this skin, you should ideally combine it with Fuse's Golden Grenadier skin, which is undeniably one of the best Fuse skins in Apex Legends. That way, you'll be walking jewelry store. Sure, the enemies will see you from a mile away, but you'll look cool at least.

Final Act

However, if you appreciate a more "darker" look to the same skin, then the Final Act might be for you.

The Final Act is basically An Anger Righteous but for emos. It throws away the blue and white of the previous skin and replaces it with a more morose black and purple. Even the face on the side of the gun is visibly more distraught. This skin goes really well with Wraith's Fallen Angel skin, which is honestly one of the best Wraith skins in Apex Legends. Technically, it was designed with that set in mind, so...

The Daybreaker

Remember how cool Gandalf was when he came to save the day at the Battle of Helms Deep? He'd have been much cooler if he had the Daybreaker to be honest.

This skin is very post-apocalyptic, I just can't put my finger on why. Maybe it's the random assortment of baubles that the skin has or maybe it's the golden chain and spikes that it has. Regardless, it looks cool, as befits the most popular assault rifle in the game. It is one of the best weapon skins in Apex Legends after all.

The Golden Rampage

The Golden Rampage is one of the weirdest skins in Apex Legends. However, that does not mean that it's a bad skin. Quite the contrary.

In essence, this skin turns the R 301 into a golden rhinoceros. I wish I were making that up. It's... it's weird, alright. But, on the plus side, it does give you slightly better iron sights, which is always nice. By all accounts, any weapon that looks like this shouldn't be functional. But hey, it's Apex Legends we're talking about. Things don't need to make sense, so long as they look cool. Right?

The Pale Moonlight

Contrary to the Daybreaker, we have the Pale Moonlight.

The Pale Moonlight features somber tones that stand in contrast with its companion skin, however, all of the other features that made the previous skin great are still here. This recolor just offers an alternative for those players who want a more realistic-looking weapon, rather than the silly toy gun-looking skins that many of the weapons skins in Apex Legends realistically are.

Ice Cold

The Ice Cold skin is what I imagine Elsa would be using if she ever became a character in Apex Legends.

This skin primarily features blue and golden colors, with weapon parts that only an evil wizard could create. In quite the literal sense, you'll be the coolest person around if you have this skin equipped. Personally, I'd pair this skin with Vantage's Ice Cold skin. She might be the worst character in Apex Legends, but at least she doesn't have the worst skins in Apex Legends.

Trial by Fire

The Trial by Fire skin isn't just a purple skin, it's the best damn purple skin in the game. And that's a hill I'm willing to die on.

The Trial by Fire series of skins are probably the best Epic skins in Apex Legends. They're living proof that a skin doesn't have to break the bank to be aesthetically pleasing. Just look at the R 301's Trial by Fire skin. It's vicious, it's sleek, and it has a cool lava animation going along the side of the gun. If you ever encounter this skin on a sale, I highly encourage you to pick it up, you won't regret it for a moment.
