Best Valkyrie Skins in Apex Legends You Will Love

Valkyrie is a Recon Legend introduced to us in the 9th season of Apex Legends. Her abilities are mostly centered around flying, as she can briefly fly thanks to her VTOL Jets. Her ultimate launches Valkyrie and her teammates in the air, allowing her to mark enemies while in the sky. To top it all off, her tactical ability the Missile Swarm decimates and stuns anyone in the vicinity. There's a reason why she's a fan-favorite legend that a lot of people play, and today we want to showcase all of the best Valkyrie skins.

Golden Opportunity

The 'Golden Opportunity' skin for Valkyrie is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials via the Legends Menu.

Gold has always been a color that all of us prefer, especially if it is put on a design that compliments it. Valkyrie as a character has a more futuristic design that many players fell in love with. However, the 'Golden Opportunity' skin is a golden masterpiece that offers Valkyrie players more alternative skin features. Granted, not many people may like this. But, if you don't care about staying true to her "default look", then this skin will treat you nicely.

The best thing about this valkyrie skin is the fact that it's a starter skin that you can craft for a mere 1200 Crafting Materials. You won't need to wait for a specific event to be able to acquire it. Additionally, the base value of this skin in Apex Coins is 1800. 

Slingshot

The 'Slingshot' skin for Valkyrie was part of the Season 12 Unshackled Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials or bought for 1800 Apex Coins during an event.

This valkyrie skin takes on a more futuristic approach, with the design leaning into a darker, yet still Valkyrie-like look. The name of the skin is fitting, as you're constantly going to be shooting up into the air whilst using Valkyrie. If you want something similar to the default Valkyrie skins in Apex and are looking to make her your main champ, then this skin will suit you just fine.

As of the time we are writing this best-of list, the Slingshot valkyrie skin is still available for crafting in the Legends menu in Apex Legends. As mentioned previously, it's going to set you back about 2400 Crafting Materials. If you're a Valkyrie main and don't have this yet, grind out some crafting materials and get to it.

Birthright

The 'Birthright' skin for Valkyrie was part of the 'Valkyrie Launch Bundle' in May of 2021. It’s a legendary skin that could've only been bought as part of the aforementioned bundle for 2250 Apex Coins.

This skin has to be among the best Valkyrie skins in Apex Legends. The fact that it came with Valkyrie's introduction in May of 2021 only confirms how awesome this skin is. The design and color scheme is nothing short of captivating. It gives Valkyrie more of a militaristic look, whilst also pushing a vibrant and colorful color scheme. Very few of Valkyrie's skins can even come close to this.

It did make a triumphant return in August of 2023 during the Fall Hunt Sale, where people could've bought it again. This gave newer and returning players the chance to snatch up one of Valkyrie's best skins ever. Sadly, it currently is not in the shop and we're not aware of the next time it will return to Apex Legends.

Air Orchid

The 'Air Orchid' skin for Valkyrie was part of the Season 12 Anniversary Collection Event in 2023. It’s a legendary skin that could've been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials or bought for 1800 Apex Coins during the aforementioned event.

As with most of the anniversary collection legendary skins that were released in 2023, the Air Orchid valkyrie skin is a one-of-a-kind. Anniversary event skins tend to always come out looking awesome and pristine. The only downside of this is the fact that they rarely ever get re-released, and a skin that looks as good as this deserves to be in the hands of more players.

The design is something to behold. It pairs many recurring Apex Legends themes and adds a color scheme that not many could deny. Whoever was present for the 2023 anniversary event is lucky, and we hope that newer players get the chance to acquire this skin sometime in the future. 

Higher Learning

The 'Higher Learning' skin for Valkyrie is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It's a legendary skin that can be crafted for 10500 Legend Tokens (requires Azure Blessing skin), or bought for 1800 Apex Coins if in the store.

Being in many ways similar to the 'Golden Opportunity' skin that we covered earlier, this Valkyrie skin is a simple, yet worthy reskin. The core outlines of the design are similar to its counterpart, with the only difference being the presence of more sophisticated etchings on the armor plates. The color scheme on the other hand is entirely subjective, some prefer gold and some prefer what the color this skin has to offer.

The high amount of legend tokens you need to be able to craft this is a bit off-putting. Not everyone has the legend tokens to spare, and it rarely ever appears in the Apex Shop for you to be able to buy it with Apex Coins.

Omatsuri Fury

The 'Omatsuri Fury' skin for Valkyrie was part of the Season 9 Genesis Collection Event in 2021. It's a legendary skin that could've been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins during an event.

This is one of those legendary valkyrie skins in Apex that don't adhere to the conventional Valkyrie 'aesthetic'. However, it still managed to come out looking absolutely stunning. Offering a more alternative look, Omatsuri Fury is Apex Legends' take on a traditional real-life theme. Moving on, the community is quite split when it comes to this skin, and we see why. It's very similar to the Cloud Marauder skin, which is also great for Valkyrie.

Unfortunately, this skin currently isn't in the rotation and can't be found in the Apex store. It did make multiple returns in the past, especially in 2023, but we don't see it returning anytime soon. Count yourself lucky if you are the owner of this skin.

Ultra Legend

The 'Ultra Legend' skin for Valkyrie is not part of a specific Apex Legends Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that could be crafted for 10500 Legend Tokens only if you have the “Military Grade” skin for Valkyrie, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins if in the store.

The Ultra Legend Valkyrie skin is something else, and it has to be mentioned due to how legendary it is. It's a reskin of the 'Military Grade' skin for Valkyrie, and has a color scheme that appeals to a broader audience. There's a reason why we mentioned it on our list of the best skins in Apex Legends, it's simply the most fitting skin for Valkyrie.

The crafting cost will set you back heavily, but if you don't spend legend tokens on buying other champions, then you'll have enough to bag this skin eventually. 

With all of that being said, all of these skins are fit for current and future Valkyrie mains. Valkyrie definitely has definitely racked up a fine inventory of skins for you to look out for. Many of these skins may not be available anymore, but now that you know they exist, be sure to keep an eye out for them when the next event Apex Legends event rolls in.
