One of the beauties of a COD mod is the ability to add new maps to the game, and this is definitely one of the best mods for a fun new map.

Combining Minecraft, Call of Duty, and zombies, this brings a Minecraft map aesthetic to the zombies game mode of black ops 3, facing the hordes of enemies on pixelated grass and in stone houses.

Back2Fronts | Call of Duty 2

A complete overhaul mod for Call of Duty 2, this mod brings a greater variety of weapons and enemies, as well as tweaking and improving many other parts of the game's gameplay.

New missions are added to the campaign, along with new enemies in the game and improved mechanics and animations to bring Call of Duty 2 up to present-day standards.

1936-1939 The Spanish Civil War | Call of Duty 2

Another complete overhaul mod, this mod transforms the normal Call of Duty 2 campaign from world war 2 to the Spanish Civil War, with a completely new set of missions, a new enemy, and new weapons.

In one particular mission, you must play as a civilian as the game guides you to safety as you avoid enemy fire, with just one bullet meaning death. Each new weapon is unique, and playing this mod truly feels like a new game entirely.

SM² | Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

This mod is technically still in development, with the developers aiming to create the ultimate Call of Duty experience.

Using the Modern Warfare 2 engine, the developers are hoping to compile all the best maps, weapons, guns, and mechanics from the entire COD franchise, from PC to mobile.

Of course, such an impressive mod is taking some time, but the last update was fairly recent, and players can remain hopeful that this mod with improved combat and huge scope will be one of the best mods yet.

The German Mod 2.0 | Call of Duty 2

Much like the Spanish civil war mod, the German mod adds new missions to Call of Duty 2, placing them in the boots of the enemy.

Designed for multiplayer, this mod puts a fun, light-hearted twist on the game, and we know everyone will have a lot of fun playing a playground classic in Call of Duty.

Modern Warfare Zombies: Complete Edition | Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Don't be fooled by the Modern Warfare name, this mod is for Call of Duty Black Ops 3. It adds a whole host of new features, from perks and weapons to killstreaks, skins, and maps.

Once you have this installed, you won't need another zombies game ever again.
