Fortnite Account Levels: What Are They Exactly?

Your Fortnite account level is the total of all the levels you've gained in every chapter and season since you first created your account.

You can't have an account level unless you're earning season levels. Season levels are the levels a player reaches in a single season. You can increase both your account levels and seasonal levels by completing quests.

It's important to note that season levels reset when a new season starts; however, account levels never reset, so you might want to start to level up faster in Fortnite to start accumulating your immortal swag. However, keep in mind that XP requirements per level in Fortnite are different, and the higher you go, the more work you'll have to put in.

How to Check Your Account Level in Fortnite

Checking your current account level in Fortnite is super simple to do, and players can access it right from the Fortnite lobby. From the main lobby screen, just go to the career tab at the top of your screen, right in-between the item shop and the v-bucks tab. When you open that tab, you’ll find your account level in the top right corner of the screen.

Keep in mind that account levels don’t have any impact on the game, and it's not one of the ways to win in Fortnite, nor do they mean that a player is more skilled at Fortnite than others. It just simply means that you have had your Epic Games account for a while, as opposed to new players, whose account level would be much smaller.
