Best Horizon Skins In Apex Legends That Make You Stand Out

Some of the best skins in Apex Legends belong to our beloved legend Horizon. Her introduction to Apex Legends happened in Season 7, and the community has absolutely adored her since then. She is classified as an offensive legend, which puts her in the same category as Revenant, who has some of the best skins in Apex Legends. Her abilities are what attracted people, especially the Black Hole device, which drastically increased grenade utility. The other abilities such as Spacewalk and Gravity Lift were also useful to more aggressive players. Horizon doesn’t have as many skins under her belt as some of the starter legends do, but the ones she does have are nothing short of amazing. Today we’re going to be showing you the best of those skins.

Solaris

The “Solaris” skin for Horizon is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that can be crafted for 1200 Crafting Materials, or unboxed via an Apex Pack.

At first, people criticized the starter legendary skins for Horizon, and this was due to the fact that these skins stray away from Horizon’s original aesthetic. As you can see, the “Solaris” skin in question is designed differently. It goes with a more medieval approach by adding the metal plates that make her look bulky instead of light and swift. There are many people that enjoy this skin regardless of its immersion factor.

Brave Hero

The “Brave Hero” skin for Horizon is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event, and it was included as part of the Legend Recolor Sale in August of 2021. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 10500 Legend Tokens only if you had the “Terra Nova” skin, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins.

The “Brave Hero” skin is basically a recolor of Horizon’s starter legendary skins “Terra Nova” and “Solaris”. The “Solaris” skin was covered earlier in this list, which gives us a better idea of the style that they went for with this skin design. However, what’s different about this skin is the additional attention to detail and color scheme. Much more emphasis was put on the new carvings and symbols, giving the skin a more sophisticated look.

Neon Stardust

The “Neon Stardust” skin for Horizon was released as part of the Horizon Launch Bundle in 2020. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been bought for 2500 Apex Coins with the Horizon Launch Bundle.

Respawn Entertainment did not only bless us with Horizon herself in Season 7, but they also released an awesome launch bundle to boot. The “Neon Stardust” skin was a pleasant addition to Horizon, and the colorful color scheme really suits her character. The design is also whacky and seems to have taken on a galactic theme. The last time we saw this skin in a bundle was in late 2021, so we’re not sure when it will return.

Golden Boson

The “Golden Boson” skin for Horizon was released as part of the Apex Legends Horizon Starter Bundle in August of 2021. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been bought with the Horizon Starter Bundle for 3950 Apex Coins.

The

The “Golden Boson” skin may be the best starter legendary skin for Horizon, and I don’t think we need to convince you of that, the picture above will. The design of the suit simply fits Horizon’s sleek aesthetic, and it’s a refreshing change from the bulky metal plates of the “Solaris” and “Terra Nova” skins. The colors were also paired really well when it comes to this skin. The only notable drawback could be the hair, and players have voiced their dislike for it.

Supermassive

The “Supermassive” skin for Horizon is not part of a specific Apex Legends Season Battle Pass or Event. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 10500 Legend Tokens only if you had the “Dark Matter” skin for Horizon.

The “Supermassive” skin is a recolor of the famous Horizon starter legendary skin “Dark Matter”. The “Dark Matter” skin was, and probably still is considered one of the best Horizon skins to date, but it didn’t make this list due to the dark style that doesn’t really suit Horizon in our opinion. It basically came down to which skin had the better color scheme, and we decided on this skin instead.

High Polish

The “High Polish” skin for Horizon was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 12 Anniversary Collection Event in 2023. It’s an epic skin that could’ve been crafted for 800 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1000 Apex Coins.

A clean and simple skin like this is always nice to see, and we believe that it’s the most fitting skin for Horizon. It’s almost identical to Horizon’s original suit, which is what many players loved in the first place. But what makes this skin is the polish effect that covers most of the skin. The pink color of the hair and certain additional accents on the suit are also complementary. This should’ve been a part of Horizon’s Twitch Prime Gaming loot.

Jewel of Olympus

The “Jewel of Olympus” skin for Horizon was released as part of the Apex Legends Season 12 Warriors Collection Event in 2023. It’s a legendary skin that could’ve been crafted for 2400 Crafting Materials, or bought for 1800 Apex Coins.

This skin was released quite recently, and it surprised a lot of Horizon mains. As you can see, it obviously one of those skins that focus more on bling than creativity. But, the design is still unique to Horizon, and predominantly gold color schemes are always nice to look at. Horizon truly looks like the Jewel of Olympus with this skin. It was available to purchase up until recently, but we have no clue when it’ll return in the future.

Horizon isn’t the only character with such a diverse inventory of skins, which is why we created similar articles for other offensive legends. These articles are -  the best Wraith skins in Apex, the best Fuse skins in Apex, the best Revenant skins in Apex, and the best Bangalore skins in Apex.

Horizon is an Apex Legend that you don’t mess with. And if you do, the Black Hole surely awaits you.
