How To Record PUBG Clips In A Few Clicks (Or Taps)?

We have a solution for those players with less patience that just want to start recording PUBG gameplay as soon as possible, but this solution requires at least Windows 10.

The reason behind this is that Windows 10 and above have an in-built program called Xbox Game Bar, which may be handy for many game-related things and recording PUBG gameplay videos and clips.

2

To begin recording PUBG gameplay using the Xbox Game Bar, press the Windows button + Alt + G to record clips or the Windows button + Alt + R to record videos.

Alternatively, if you play PUBG mobile (Android and iOS), here's how you can record its gameplay in just a few taps:

Android: Open the Play Games app (if you don't have it pre-installed, download it from Google Play) and run PUBG through it. Once you do, you'll have an option to start recording gameplay at the top of the screen. Tap the record icon to begin recording PUBG gameplay, and drag the same icon on the center of the screen to stop.

iOS: Go to the Control Center and activate screen recording by tapping the + icon next to that option. Then, while in PUBG, open the Control Center, tap the gray record button, and tap it again (now the icon will be red) to stop recording.

Method #1: Nvidia GeForce Experience

The first method of recording PUBG gameplay we'd like to introduce you to is GeForce Experience, so follow these steps to learn how to use this program:

3

  1. Visit Nvidia's official website to download the current version of GeForce Experience.
  2. Select the settings cog icon left of your username, in the upper right corner.
  3. Next, enable the "In-game overlay" option by ticking the gray button.
  4. Finally, select "Settings" under the "In-game overlay."

4

In the Settings menu, you'll be able to change everything from video and audio options to keyboard hotkeys, so there won't be a need to adjust anything because these settings are automatically configured based on what GPU you have.

In short, the program is ready to use whenever you're ready.

Then, while in PUBG, press Alt + F9 to record videos manually or Alt + F10 to record clips. You'll find your PUBG clips and videos recorded through GeForce Experience in the C:\Users\<Username>\Videos folder.

Method #2: Radeon ReLive

Our second method of today is AMD's Radeon ReLive, which you'll learn how to use if you follow these few steps shown below:

5

  1. Visit AMD's official website to download the latest version of the Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition. After installing it, you'll have to restart your PC before using the program.
  2. Then, open the AMD Radeon settings and select the ReLive tab.
  3. Enable this function by ticking the button.

6

Restarting the PC was the crucial step that allowed Radeon ReLive to configure everything automatically, so you won't need to change anything now. However, make sure to enable "Instant Replay," "In-Game Replay," and "Instant Gif" options which can be pretty valuable for making PUBG clips and gifs instantaneously.

Then, once you're in the PUBG, press and hold Ctrl + Shift + R keyboard hotkey to begin recording, and you'll find PUBG clips and videos in the C:\Users\<Username>\Videos\Radeon ReLive folder.

Method #3: Outplayed

Here's how you can record PUBG gameplay videos and clips using our third and final method—Outplayed:

7

  1. Visit the Overwolf official website and download the latest version of Outplayed. After running the program for the first time, you'll have to select PUBG from the list of games and click on "Next."
  2. Select one of the preset video profiles or customize the video settings however you want in this step. You'll be able to select Low, Medium, High, and Custom settings, but always consider your PC's power.
  3. In this step, you'll need to allocate the disk space and change the default video storage folder (which is optional).
  4. Finally, you'll be able to adjust the default keyboard shortcuts or leave them as they are. To complete the configuration, click on "Done."

8

As you can see from the screenshot, you can now choose four capture modes: highlights only, full PUBG match, full session (multiple matches), or manual capturing only.

We suggest you use Highlights of all these options since it will record significant match segments such as kills, deaths, and other moments and display them in a timeline.

9

However, if you still want to record PUBG videos or clips manually, all you gotta do is use Ctrl + F4 keyboard hotkey for videos or Ctrl + F3 for clips.

To find your PUBG videos and clips recorded using the Outplayed, head to C:\Users\<Username>\Videos\Overwolf\Outplayed folder.
