Smite Ranked Requirements: Everything You Need to Know

What Are the Ranked Requirements for Conquest?

Conquest definitely has the strictest ranked requirements of the three game modes. After all, it is the most complex game mode that Smite has.

Conquest Requirements

If you want to play ranked, specifically ranked conquest, you'll have to have reached Level 30 and own at least 20 Gods that have reached Mastery Level 2. Additionally, you also have to have played at least 30 normal conquest matches. 30 isn't the max level in Smite, but it is the max account level.

Reaching Level 30 is arguably the hardest part. Thankfully, it's pretty easy to level up fast in Smite. All you need is dedication and a lot of patience. Ranked matches in Conquest are pretty much just like regular Conquest, just with a 10-ban draft pick system in place. It might seem strange at first but don't worry. It's something you quickly get accustomed to after a few ranked games.

What Are the Ranked Requirements for Joust?

Joust is probably the second-most popular ranked game mode. It's straightforward, it's intense, and it's a lot of fun. Here's what you need to play ranked Joust.

Joust Requirements

Just as in the previous case, you'll have to have reached Level 30 to play ranked Joust. Unlike ranked Conquest, however, to play Ranked Joust, all you need is 14 owned Gods at Mastery 2. Considering how easy it is to get free Gods in Smite, you should have that amount of owned Gods in no time.

One thing you should probably know about the ranking system in Smite is that each game mode tracks Ranks and MMR separately. It's weird, but it's how Ranks and MMR work in Smite. This effectively means that you'll have to choose wisely which seasonal rewards you'd like to earn, as it's too much of a time-sink to focus on all of them at the same time.

What Are the Ranked Requirements for Duel?

Wait. Do people actually play Ranked Duel? It's kind of like a Unicorn. I have to see it with my own two eyes to believe it. Anyway. Here's what you'll need to play ranked Duel.

Duel Requirements

If you want to play Ranked Duel it's as easy as apple pie. All you have to do is reach Level 30. No God ownership requirements, no Mastery requirements, nothing! Still, I'd advise you to play Smite for at least a couple of months before getting into Duel. It's usually in Duel where player skill becomes most apparent.

Duel ranked matches aren't your typical ranked games. For starters, you won't have any teammates to support you. It's just you against another player. It's in these kinds of situations where your skill as a player will finally be put to the test. You have to have peak map awareness. Foundational knowledge of multiple Gods. And an entire book's worth of builds memorized.
