Best 10 Humanoid Pokemon in the Human-Like Egg Group

1 /10

Kingambit

A brand-new Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Kingambit is the final form of Bisharp. Bisharp was already pretty human like, but Kingambit takes it a step further with its amazing Samurai-inspired design.

Now don't get me wrong - I liked Bisharp. It's great. But Kingambit is on a whole other level.

Kingambit

Kingambit has phenomenal Attack and Defense stats, a good movepool, and a brilliant two immunities and nine resistances to go with it. This is a powerful Pokemon, one easily suited to battle.

Its relatively low Speed doesn't even matter, since Kingambit's exclusive Ability Supreme Overlord boosts its already massive Attack further for every member of its party that's already been defeated in battle.

Kingambit is a great option in competitive play, in Tera Raids, and even just casual play. Easily the best human like Pokémon!

2 /10

Lucario

A human like wolf Pokemon with an army of fans, Lucario has a simply yet iconic design. Lucario was an instant fan favorite Pokémon, being featured in the anime, games, and in the Pokemon movies.

With both high Attack and Special Attack stats Lucario is useful in a range of roles, and with its great movepool and many resistances it's a favored option for many a trainer.

Lucario

It even gets a super cool Mega Evolution, Mega Lucario, which has even been banned from some competitive play formats thanks to its insane utility. No wonder it's also one of the best Mega Evolutions!

Mega Lucario

Mega Lucario is dripping with character, kicking up Lucario's much simpler design and giving it some welcome flair. Few Pokémon ever get as popular as Lucario, so it's easily one of the better human like Pokémon!

3 /10

Armarouge & Ceruledge

Armarouge and Ceruledge are basically the same Pokemon, just wearing a different kind of armor. And wow, do they have eye-catching designs!

Easily some of the most human like Pokémon to feature in any part of the franchise, whether anime or game, Ceruledge and Armarouge are on fire. Literally, since they're Fire types.

Armarouge and Ceruledge

While Armarouge is a bright and shiny Psychic type, with a thick, armored body, Ceruledge is a dark and brooding Ghost type, with a sleek body and sharp blades joining an ever growing list of Fire and Ghost types.

These Pokemon look almost like characters from a different franchise, but it's exactly that unique look which has won them so many fans.

They're also pretty powerful Pokémon too, with Armarouge having a great Special Attack stat and Ceruledge with a brilliant Attack stat.

For brand-new additions to the Pokemon world, these Pokemon are already pretty popular.

4 /10

Gardevoir & Gallade

Gardevoir and Gallade are two extremely human like Pokémon. Many fans see them as male and female variants of one another, although only Gallade is male-exclusive.

But both have a very human body shape, even though Gardevoir's is obscured by the dress-like appendages.

Gardevoir and Gallade

These are the final form for Ralts, and they're both very strong Pokémon with a lot to love. Both dual types, Gardevoir is part Fairy type while Gallade is part Fighting.

Their designs are great, both showing off the different directions little Ralts can go in, with Gardevoir being sophisticated and elegant compared with Gallade's practical and much more martial look.

For me, Gardevoir has the better design, but Gallade's typing and stats are really great to have.

And both are capable of Mega Evolution, making them fantastic choices in battle!

Gardevoir is even one of the best Psychic type Pokemon!

5 /10

Lopunny

A pure Normal type Pokemon based on a rabbit, Lopunny has big Lola Bunny energy and legions upon legions of adoring fans.

Despite its fan favorite look, Lopunny has relatively lackluster stats, making it ordinarily a poor choice in battle. Although it does get a nice immunity to Ghost type!

Lopunny

But Lopunny gets a Mega Evolution into Mega Lopunny, which takes the humanoid Pokémon to a new level of usefulness with its great Attack stat paired with a very nice Speed stat. It even gets the Fighting type!

Mega Lopunny

And many fans absolutely love its new design, cementing Lopunny as one of the best human like Pokémon!

6 /10

Mr. Rime

Lots of Pokemon fans think Mr. Mime is creepy, which is fair enough since it's a weird human like clown Pokémon. It's definitely not for everyone. But Mr. Rime, a final evolution exclusive to the Galarian form of Mr. Mime, is pretty cool (pun intended).

This Ice and Psychic type Pokemon is a dapper elderly gent, and its design is pretty swish. It also manages to be far less creepy than either Kantonian or Galarian Mr. Mime, which is great news for Pokemon fans everywhere.

Mr Rime

Its movepool isn't the best, but it has good attack stats and a nice Special Defense, so it's an interesting to choice.

I really enjoyed seeing Mr. Rime. It was unexpected and a nice twist on Galarian Mr. Mime. And it definitely manages to rescue the reputation of its evolutionary family!

7 /10

Cinderace

With its design based on a soccer player, it's hard to get more human like than Cinderace. The final form of cute little bunny Scorbunny, its design features elements that combined look like a soccer uniform, looking more like humans than the real life animals which it's based on.

Cinderace

I've got to admit, I was a little disappointed when Scorbunny became Cinderace.

But I got over it, because Cinderace is a fantastic Pokemon with a super useful Hidden Ability. The Libero Ability is one of the best Pokemon Abilities in game, so good it was even nerfed after its introduction.

With its high Attack and Speed, Cinderace makes a great physical attacker, and its nicely varied movepool in conjunction with its Libero Ability makes it a vicious and versatile attacker, able to hit many different types for super effective damage.

8 /10

Grimmsnarl

Part of a duo with Hatterene, Grimmsnarl is a Dark and Fairy type Pokémon that's based around real life myths and legends of dark forest fairies and tricksters.

One of the best Fairy type Pokemon, Grimmsnarl shows off the darker and edgier side of Fairy types with its menacing design and powerful Attack stat.

Grimmsnarl

Much of Grimmsnarl's bulk is made up out of its long, moveable hair covering its body, giving it its iconic human look. With a good movepool and a typing that gives it two immunities, Grimmsnarl is a great choice in battle.

It even gets an intimidating and massive Gigantamax Form, taking its design to the next level and making it a great choice for any trainer.

9 /10

Infernape

Possibly the favorite final evolution of a starter Pokemon from Generation IV, Infernape is beloved by many.

It's also got a major advantage over other Pokemon on this list because it's based around monkeys, which are resemble humans anyway.

Infernape

But it's a great choice of Pokemon with good, balanced Attack and Special Attack stats, meaning it can easily fulfil a bunch of roles whether it's using physical or special attacks. A Fighting and Fire type Pokemon, Infernape is fantastic in game, and its design is pretty nice as well.

Based around ancient myths, Infernape is a fantastic representation of its real world influences while also having a great look and utility in game.

10 /10

Machamp

One of the original 151, Machamp is a pure Fighting type Pokemon with an intriguing design. Featuring four arms, Machamp is a burly martial artist with some interesting design choices. It wears a Championship belt, which Machoke gains upon evolution from base form, Machop.

From... somewhere. Somehow.

Machamp

But it's one of the few pieces of Machamp's design that stands out, apart from its many arms, so it's a necessary part of the design - and it apparently contains its massive power, according to the Pokedex entry.

Machamp has a great Attack stat, but due to power creep over the years it's outclassed by many other Pokemon. Still, it's easily one of the best human like Pokémon thanks to its simple yet intriguing design and long-time popularity.

And it's got a Gigantamax Form!
