Top 5 Shorty Valorant Skins in 2023

Shorty is absolutely the best of all sidearms for short distances. If we take a good position and take care of the movement, we can get some nice frags in seconds.

Therefore, we have prepared a listing for the top 5 Valorant weapon skins for this particular gun to add even more fashion to all your “1 shot — one kill” situations.

Hivemind Shorty Skin

The Hivemind Shorty skin was added to Valorant on August 5th, 2020, as a part of the Ignition: Act 2 Battle Pass. It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it only comes in one variant. This skin is not purchasable in the Valorant Shop, and you could only get it by leveling the Ignition: Act 2 Battle Pass up to Tier 50.

Let's start this listing with a Battle Pass exclusive skin that you can't get anymore. It's been almost a year since the Ignition Battle Pass ended, and Hivemind Shorty is still one of the best of all released skins for this gun.

It's just a pity that the Hivemind skin line consists of only non-upgradeable skins; this particular Shorty skin begs for some additional VFX or animations. Anyway, if you've managed to get it from the Battle Pass last year, you own one — take advantage of it!

2 /5

Oni Shorty Skin

The Valorant Oni Shorty skin was added to Valorant on July 21st, 2020, as a part of the Oni Collection. It’s an upgradeable skin, and it comes in four variants — Default, Black, Green, and White. You can purchase the Oni Shorty skin for 1775 VPs in the Valorant Store.

The previous skin had no VFX or animations, but this one does… and what kind! This list could not stand without Oni Shorty. If you're feeling the vibe that the Oni skin gives off, consider buying the entire skin bundle instead of this individual skin. You can get such wonders as the Oni Phantom skin, a stylish Gun Buddy, and other highly refined Valorant cosmetics worth every single Valorant Point.

Wasteland Shorty Skin

The Wasteland Shorty skin was added to Valorant on November 3rd, 2020, as a part of the Wasteland Collection. It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it only comes in one variant. You can purchase the Wasteland Shorty skin for 1275 VPs in the Valorant Store.

Many of you may be familiar with the Wasteland bundle because of the cheap Vandal skin it comes with. It is one of the most underrated collections in the game, and this gun skin is an excellent example of what it has to offer.

Sure, it’s not upgradeable, but it still has outstanding default VFX and animations for a skin that costs only 1275 Valorant Points.

4 /5

Snakebite Shorty Skin

The Snakebite Shorty skin was added to Valorant on July 2nd, 2020, as a part of the In-Game Challenges (Contracts). It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it comes in one variant. Snakebite Shorty is not purchasable, and you can only get it for completing all the Tiers of the Viper Contract.

How about a free Shorty skin now? As we all know, in most cases, to get a good-looking weapon skin, we have to spend some money (and often quite a lot).

And there you go, here’s an exception to the rule! Sure, it might take you some time to get it, but it’s absolutely worth it. Besides, looking at this one, we need a Viper-related melee skin — Can you imagine that Poisoned Knife skin?

5 /5

Ruin Shorty Skin

The Ruin Shorty skin was added to Valorant on October 13th, 2020, as a part of the Ignition: Act 3 Battle Pass. It’s a non-upgradeable skin, and it only comes in one variant. This skin is not purchasable in the Valorant Shop, and you could only get it by leveling the Ignition: Act 3 Battle Pass up to Tier 20.

Let's close this listing with another Battle Pass skin. As of today, this is the most royal-looking skin for Shorty in the game, mainly due to the great black and gold color match. Moreover, it matches incredibly well with Melee Weapon from the same Battle Pass. The existence of this skin kind of makes us feel like we're missing Shorty from the Prime skin collection, but well, maybe one day….

As you can see, each of these skins came out in 2020, and none of them were available in Valorant Beta. We think it’s safe to say this sidearm is a bit neglected by Riot this year when it comes to cosmetics.

But all in all, all these skins are so good, and 3 of them you could get virtually for free, so do we really need new options for Shorty? Maybe not, but we wouldn't despise it anyway.
