Top 5 Vandal Valorant Skins in 2021
Want to add some more style to your Vandal frags? Here is a list of 5 skins that will make every headshot feel better than before.
Vandal is one of the more commonly used and iconic weapons in Valorant. Not counting the Phantom, it's hard to find such a frequently used and powerful rifle. Therefore, we have collected the top five Vandal skins to make your frags look even more spectacular. Each of these skins has its specific style, so you will undoubtedly find something that hits your taste. So, if you’re looking for a new Vandal skin, you’re in the right place.
Prime Vandal Skin
The Prime Vandal skin was added to Valorant on June 2nd, 2020, as a part of the Prime Collection. It’s an upgradeable skin, and it comes in four variants — Default, Orange, Blue, and Yellow. You can purchase the Prime Vandal skin for 1775 VPs in the Valorant Store.
Let's start with arguably the most popular skin in the game — Prime Vandal. Because of this skin, many players called Valorant “P2W” because of how smooth the gameplay becomes when you're using it. Well, while we're far from drawing conclusions like that, we'll tell you that there's something to it. The VFX and shot animation alone make Vandal feel a little lighter, making you think that you're moving faster and smoother. Moreover, thanks to the gold and the sheer aesthetic of this skin, Prime Vandal just looks incredibly royal and prestigious.
Elderflame Vandal Skin
The Elderflame Vandal skin was added to Valorant on July 9, 2020, as a part of the Elderflame Collection. It’s an upgradeable skin, and it comes in four variants — Default, Red, Blue, and Dark. You can purchase it for 2475 VPs in the Valorant Store.
Another skin that we consider one of the best is Elderflame Vandal. Although, can it even be called a skin? It’s like you can purchase a new weapon in the Valorant Store, with the same recoil as Vandal. The gameplay with the Elderflame skin looks like you are walking with a tame dragon on the battlefield. Moreover, the reload animation is one of the most creative of all skins in the game — you literally see your “pet” taking away ammo from you. If we are already on animation effects, all go incredibly smooth and are unique like no other. Elderflame Vandal comes in four different variants, so you can easily adjust the dragon's look to your tastes, making the skin more versatile. Of all the released skins, Vandal Elderflame is one of the most unique, that’s for sure.
Reaver Vandal Skin
The Reaver Vandal skin was added to Valorant on October 26th, 2020, as a part of the Reaver Collection. You can purchase it for 1775 VPs in the Valorant Shop.
Reaver skins were already available during the Closed Beta, but because they were the most used skins by players at the time, the developers decided to see a refreshed version of them in late 2020. This skin undoubtedly makes Vandal look more solid and deadly, mainly due to the steel that gives the rifle that extra “heaviness”. We also can't forget about the finisher animation, which gives no illusion that there is anything left of the opponent. If you’re into shadowy colors and a dark atmosphere, there is a good chance that you’ll find this weapon skin worth every Valorant Point.
Glitchpop 2.0 Vandal Skin
The Glitchpop 2.0 Vandal skin was added to Valorant on February 4th, 2021, as a part of the refreshed Glitchpop Collection. It’s an upgradeable skin, and it comes in four variants — Default, Blue, Red, and Gold. You can purchase it for 2175 VPs in the Valorant Shop.
If Valorant was in the League of Legends universe, it could easily be a K/DA skin. The Glitchop collection skins come with a distinctive glitch and carry a heavy cyberpunk vibe. This skin is far from the most minimalistic in the game — Glitchpop 2.0 is colorful and filled with stickers, but it's exactly what Valorant players wanted! Hivemind Vandal Skin
The Hivemind Vandal skin was added to Valorant on August 5, 2020, as a part of the Ignition: Act 2 Battle Pass. This skin is not purchasable in the Valorant Shop, and you could only get it by leveling the Battle Pass up to Tier 25.
The presence of this skin may surprise some of you; after all, it’s non-upgradable, and it has no VFX or finisher animation. So, what’s so fantastic about it? Firstly, its design. Hivemind Vandal looks luxurious; you can't take that away from it. Secondly, it's no longer available — you can buy other skins from this article in the Valorant Store, but not this one. Therefore, in a few years, it will be a signature of being a veteran Valorant player, making it even more special.
