Requirements To Unlock Super Troops In Clash of Clans

To unlock Super Troops, Clash of Clans players must complete three requirements:

1. Reach Town Hall 11: You can only access Super Troops once you have reached Town Hall 11. This is the primary requirement.

2. The troop must meet the level requirement: Troops have a base level requirement before they can be upgraded to Super Troops. The levels vary for every troop.

3. Spend 25,000 Dark Elixir or Super Potion: Super Troop upgrades are temporary! You must spend Dark Elixir or a Super Potion to unlock the Super Troop upgrade for three days.

As you can see, Super Troops aren’t available for beginner Clash of Clans players, as only advanced players will have the permissions and luxury to spend 25,000 Dark Elixir to boost a troop for only three days.

How To Get Super Troops Fast

Getting To Town Hall 11

The biggest wall for players wanting to unlock Super Troops is the Town Hall 11 requirement. To reach TH11, you must actively be raiding bases to collect resources and develop your base.

It is not a good idea to rush to Town Hall 11 for the sole purpose of unlocking Super Troops, as under-leveled regular troops cannot receive Super Troop upgrades anyway.

Keep Upgrading Your Troops

As mentioned earlier, troops have a base-level requirement to unlock their Super Troop upgrade. If you want an arsenal of Super Troops to choose from, you must constantly upgrade your troops.

Make sure you are always farming Elixir quickly so you can always have your Laboratory running all the time.

Prepare Dark Elixir And Super Potions

If you have already met the required troop levels for your desired Super Troops, having Dark Elixir and Super Potions prepared to upgrade the troop for three days is essential.

Ensure you farm Dark Elixir fast to have 25,000 prepared to renew the Super Troop upgrade.

Alternatively, you can use Super Potions instead of spending Dark Elixir.
