Supreme Master First Class

Is Supreme Master First Class good?

Supreme Master First Class is the second-highest rank in the CS2 (CSGO) ranking system, and only 2.64% of all players have it, meaning that it contains players that are way better than the average CS player.

1

Many professional players are still assigned to this rank, so there is a good chance that you will run into a Counter Strike pro player from teams like Heroic, Astralis, or NaVi. In short — yes, it is an excellent rank, and it requires some outstanding game sense and skill level. These players can control spray patterns with their eyes closed.

How many hours do you need to play CS2 (CSGO) to become Supreme Master First Class?

The rank of Supreme First Master Class is usually a sign of dedication and hours spent practicing the game and playing lots of competitive matches. There are virtually no CS2 (CSGO) players who get it as their first rank (unless you are a cheater with a new account without a Prime Status).

2

Super Master First Class players are individuals who spend a substantial portion of their time on the game, so it's nothing surprising to see between 1500 and 2500 hours played on their Steam profile.

Ways to improve Supreme Master First Class

There’s only one higher rank in the CS2 (CSGO) matchmaking system – it’s The Global Elite and you are just one step away from it. Here are some tips that can help you in your grind of being a top 0.75% of all CS2 (CSGO) players.

Be super patient

It can take you a really long time to get to The Global Elite rank, maybe even 30 wins in a row. This is a real grind; you and your team (because there is no place for solo queueing) need to be aware of this and approach the game with patience.

Main one or two maps

Master to perfection one or two maps with your team and play them exclusively. Proper preparation will give you a significant advantage over the enemy team.

3

Avoid distractions

Stay 100% focused on the game. If you are distracted by things like weapon skins — consider playing without them and ask your teammates to do the same.

Consider giving up popular maps

It will be hard for you to surprise your opponents on the most popular maps like Dust II or Mirage as most of the strategies are very well known. Maybe it's worth playing a little less popular maps in your competitive matches and winning the match with unconventional ideas?

Play sparring matches against other teams

Test your round ideas, strategies, and grenades against other teams before you go for playing competitive matches. Moreover, try to find teams that have an entirely different playstyle from each other; that way, you'll draw more conclusions eventually.
