Nicks' | Keybinds, Mouse, Video Pro Fornite Settings

A Brazilian beast, Nicollas "Nicks" Polonio de Oliveira is a professional Fortnite player and popular YouTube content creator.

He has also played for the Esports teams W7M Gaming, Cloud9, and Hero Base, competing in multiple Fortnite championship finals.

Of course, his settings are in Portugese, as he is from Brazil, but we have translated these settings into English. If you need to change your language, check out our article on how to change your Fortnite language settings.

As with many other professional players, Nicks' mouse sensitivity is extremely low, sitting at 6.2% for normal mouse sensitivity.

Having a lower sens in your game settings helps give more control over your aim, which is why Nicks and many other pros have sens of 10% or less.

For normal players, these game settings can be difficult to adjust to. To learn how to use low sens, we recommend checking out our article on the best Fortnite aim maps to practice on.

Nicks' Fortnite Keybind Settings

Of course, the mouse wheel and buttons are only half the picture. Just as important are the Fortnite keybinds, and Nicks definitely has some of the best around.

Not everyone uses a keyboard, and those using a controller should make sure to check out our article on the best Fortnite controller aim settings.

For movement, Nicks' Fortnite settings are pretty standard, opting for speed with Auto Run and Sprint bound to easy-to-reach keybinds such as Left Shift and Num Lock.

This focus of keybinds surrounding the WASD area is common amongst pros, and can be seen with Nicks' other settings.

Much like crouch being Left Ctrl, weapon slot 5 is bound to X so that Nicks can reach it easier while having his fingers on the WASD movement keys. This is common with all Nicks' combat settings.

Reload ("R"), Use ("G"), and the Harvesting Tool ("F") are all right next to the WASD area of the keyboard, ensuring Nicks' reflexes can be as fast as possible when responding to enemies.

Continuing the focus on the WASD area to allow for speed and agility, Nicks' trap slot is set to T, while the most important building slots are all bound to keys even closer such as C or Q.

What's interesting here is that when Nicks ran out of good keys to bind the building slot to, he chose to bind the roof slot to mouse button 4, ensuring he can always build any type of building as quickly as possible.

Wanting focus, most of Nicks' video settings are set to low or off to avoid distraction, with motion blur off, anti aliasing off, and low post processing.

To allow for easy long-distance gunfights, Nicks' view distance is set to far, allowing him to spot enemies from across the map and maintain good battlefield awareness.

And those are Nicks' Fortnite settings! Make sure to test them out on the island and see if you can get a victory royale.
