Unlocking content in games is fun, and Brawlhalla, like many other games, lets you unlock legends, colors, and cosmetic items through in-game purchases (find out how to get free skins and legends).
You can either use gold and Glory, which are the currencies you gain while playing the game normally or by using mammoth coins, Brawlhalla's premium currency.
But sometimes you don't really enjoy your purchase, and you would like a refund.
Fortunately for you, Brawlhalla lets you refund your in-game purchases easily.
What can you refund in Brawlhalla?
Brawlhalla explicitly lets you refund in-game content. However, you are limited to 3 refunds, and you can only use them on purchases made in the last 90 days.
If you want to refund mammoth coins or DLCs, the procedure is a little more complex, and it is later discussed in this article.
How to refund your in-game content purchases
Here's the procedure for refunding something you bought through the Brawlhalla in-game shop. Note that you can't refund purchases older than 90 days.
- Open Brawlhalla
- Open the Mallhalla in the top right
- Select the Purchases tab
- Select the item you want to refund
- Select the Refund Item option
In Brawlhalla you have up to 3 refunds. Use them carefully, you can either refund something you bought with gold, ranked points (Glory), or with mammoth coins, it doesn't matter.

How to refund your mammoth coins on Steam
If you need to refund your mammoth coins purchase you made with real money, then it can be a little more tricky.
First of all, it depends on the platform you are using. Let's say you are using Steam (PC) for example. You will need to follow Steam's refund policies and tell them through their support page you want a refund for your purchase.
- Open Steam
- Go to the support page
- Select purchases
- Select your mammoth coin purchase
- Click on I would like a refund
Their support may or not may be able to help you with your refund. Make sure to send screenshots of your mammoth coins showing that you didn't use them (don't use them if you are planning to refund them!).
How to refund Brawlhalla DLCs on Steam
If you want to have a refund for a Brawlhalla DLC you bought, you need to follow the same procedure you did for the mammoth coins.
All Steam DLC refunds are handled through Steam directly. If you meet their criteria you should be able to refund through Steam.
What to do if you have negative Mammoth coins
Negative Mammoth coins are a sign that something went wrong with a purchase you did in the past. Taking Steam as the example platform, if they wrongly assume that a purchase you made went through correctly, Brawlhalla may give you access to the items of that DLC, coins included. Once Steam takes notice that the transaction never happened, they will remove the DLC from your account, and you will consequently lose the items of the DLCs, such as coins. If you spent your coins during that time, your balance may go negative.
Again, you will need to contact Steam support (or your platform of choice) to see what is going on.
