One Ireland's top Fortnite talents, Lolb0om is a professional Fortnite player who has competed in many Fortnite tournaments, in the running for massive prizes of up to 30 million dollars!
An amazing player and engaging twitch streamer, lolb0om has competed with several teams and organisations, including Fact Revolution, Veloce, and most recently departing from Spectrum ESC.
With such an impressive skill set at both building and destroying other players, many people want to know exactly how he does it? Crafted for one of the best Fortnite players in the world, here are the Lolb0om settings you might want to use.
Lolb0om's Fortnite Mouse Settings
As you can see, LolB0om has very low sensitivity, likely to give him more control over his movements. It is fairly normal for pro Fortnite players to have their sensitivity settings lower than the average player, but 10.7% is low even for professionals.
DPI | 400 |
X-Axis Sensitivity | 10.7% |
Y-Axis Sensitivity | 10.7% |
Targeting Sensitivity | 50% |
Scope Sensitivity | 45% |
Polling Rate (Hz) | 1000 |
Some sources online claim Lolb0om’s X and Y sensitivity to be even lower, at 10% or 9%, however these settings are the most recent and reliable ones available.
His targeting and scope sensitivity is much closer to normal however, likely due to the already slower-than-normal movement speed when scoped in, allowing for that all-important control over movement and aim. Lolb0om's Fortnite Keybind Settings
As a PC player, currently playing with a Corsair K65 RAPIDFIRE keyboard, Lolb0om’s keybind settings are just as important as the rest of his setup. In the heat of battle, you want your fingers to seamlessly find the right button, making building towers or pulling off headshots that much easier.
Lolb0om's Fortnite Movement Keybinds
Along with these keybinds, his HUD is also set to a pretty standard 100%. Overall Lolb0om’s movement keybinds are fairly normal for a PC player, with of course the infamous WASD setup, and spacebar for jumping. If you play on PC, it’s likely your keybinds already look something like this.
Move Forward | W or Up |
Move Left | A or Left |
Move Backward | S or Down |
Move Right | D or Right |
Jump | Space Bar |
Sprint | Left Shift |
Auto Run | G or Num Lock |
Crouch | Left Ctrl |
Of course, it’s important to hear your enemy coming, giving you a massive combat advantage. Check out our article on the best sound settings in Fortnite to make sure you’re never snuck up on again.
Lolb0om's Fortnite Combat Keybinds
The core of Fortnite, and any other Battle Royale game, combat is one of the most important things to get right. As you can see, it’s important to keep as many keybinds close to your movement keys (WASD) as possible.
Fire | Left Mouse Button |
Target | Right Mouse Button |
Reload | R |
Use | F |
Harvesting Tool | 1 |
Weapon Slot 1 | 2 |
Weapon Slot 2 | 3 |
Weapon Slot 3 | 4 |
Weapon Slot 4 | 5 |
Weapon Slot 5 | T |
This allows for faster reaction speed with your fingers closer to the right buttons - this is likely why Weapon Slot 5 is a “T” keybind, rather than a sequential “6”. Of course, the standard choice of “R” for reload and “F” for use or interact remain, also staying close to the movement keys.
Lolb0om's Fortnite Building Keybinds
Fortnite’s crowning feature, the building, is an entire skill to learn by itself. And man oh man, has Lolb0om learnt that skill. Similarly to the combat keybinds, it’s clear that most of the keyboard binds are kept close to the WASD movement area, but in the mix are also some unique keybinds.
Crouch While Building | Left Ctrl |
Wall | Thumb Mouse Button 2 |
Floor | C |
Stairs | Thumb Mouse Button 1 |
Roof | X |
Trap | V |
Place Building | Left Mouse Button |
Repair/Upgrade | Q |
Rotate Building | R |
Change Building Material | Right Mouse Button |
Building Edit | E Or Mouse Wheel Down |
Crouch while Editing | Left Ctrl |
Select Building Edit | Left Mouse Button |
Reset Building Edit | Right Mouse Button Or Mouse Wheel Down |
Of course, place building and change materials are simple, super fast mouse clicks of left and right. There are also, however, the thumb mouse buttonsfor walls and stairs. Used for the most commonly placed structures for speed and agility in a fight situation, not every gamer will have these keybinds available.
Many gaming-orientated mouses will have extra buttons, most commonly the two buttonsthat rest where a person’s thumb would be. For those of you who might want to buy Lolb0om’s mouse, he currently uses a FinalMouse Ultralight 2.
Lolb0om's Fortnite Video Settings
While having so many graphics set to low or off may seem strange to the average player, this is actually a strategic decision seen by many pro players. Graphics such as shadows can often distract from enemies, or cause confusion, and having them off or set to low allows a player to hone in on their enemies.
Window Mode | Fullscreen |
Display Resolution | 1920 x 1080 16:9 |
Frame Rate Limit | 240 FPS |
Quality (Custom 3D Resolution) | 1920 x 1080 (100%) |
View Distance | Medium |
Shadows | Off |
Anti-Aliasing | Off |
Textures | Low |
Effects | Low |
Post Processing | Low |
Vsync | Off |
Motion Blur | Off |
Show FPS | On |
Allow Multithreaded Rendering | On |
Of course, Lolb0om’s resolution is custom set to match his Acer Predator XB271HU monitor, while having his game fullscreen and at a high FPS all help with having a smooth and engaging game.
