If you no longer have access to your account or perhaps someone you know got a ban, and you were wondering is there anything you could do? Do not worry because in this article we will show you how to appeal a ban.

Can You Be Unbanned In Escape From Tarkov?

Yes, even if the ban is “permanent”, you can still be unbanned. People have been banned and unbanned without any warning, so if nothing works maybe it was a mistake on either Battleye’s or Battlestate games end and you can be unbanned. We recommend you appeal the ban as soon as possible, however.

How To Appeal a Ban In Escape From Tarkov?

First and foremost, we do not condone the use of any kind of third party software that gives you an unfair advantage against other players. We think cheating has no place in the gaming community, as it ruins the game for everyone else. Especially in games like Escape from Tarkov where your EfT gear matters so much.

Now that being said, anti-cheat is not perfect and false bans do happen, whether it is by Battlestate games or Battleye.

There is a different process if you were banned by Battlestate games, and different if you were banned by Battleeye. If you think your permanent ban was unjustified, here’s how you can appeal it.

How Do I Know Which Process To Use?

Right now, we recommend you use both since it can be a bit tricky to know, and it will not hurt to ask both parties anyway, unless you are absolutely sure.

How To Appeal Battlestate Games Ban?

Appealing a ban may seem a bit intimidating, but it is actually pretty simple here’s how:

1. Log in to the banned Escape from Tarkov account.

2. Click on ‘Profile’
   
   

   

3. Click on ‘Contact Support’ which is under the ‘Actions:’ tab
   
4. Select ‘Account’.
   

5. Describe your Issue to Battlestate games.

How To Appeal The Battleye Ban?

Battleye has an even easier process, here’s how you can appeal your ban:

1. Go to Battleye.com/contact/

2. Select ‘Ban appeals’
   

3. Fill in your Name, Email Address, and put “EfT banned account” under ‘Subject’.

4. Write your appeal under ‘Message’, confirm that you agree with their policy, and solve the captcha.

How Do I Avoid Getting Banned?

Here are a few important things to remember if you want to avoid getting banned:

• You can avoid getting banned by not using any kind of third-party software while Escape from Tarkov is running.

• Avoid exploiting, if you find an exploit do not use it, instead report it to Battlestate games.

• Do not buy accounts, play on your own account, since buying accounts is strictly forbidden.

• Secure your accounts, if you get hacked your account can be used for cheating or inappropriate behavior, although this is very rare.

• Do not drop items with too big of value, generally dropping items, even expensive weapons or armor for your friends to use is fine, but too much can be seen as RMT (Real Money Trading) and it may get you banned.

• Do not act inappropriately on VOIP, as that can get you banned as well.
