How To Change Language in Valheim From The Settings

Iron Gate Studio has done a remarkable job with Valheim. They have managed to create an outstanding game. They have also added tons of features to it, including the option to change the language from the game’s settings. The process of changing the language is pretty simple, and here’s how you can do it:

1. Launch Valheim
2. Go to the Main Menu of the game
3. Click on Settings which can be found under the “Start Game’ option
4. In the Settings section, click on Misc, which is the fourth tab
5. Here, you will see an option named Language
6. Click on the angle bracket symbol and choose your desired language

Once done, you will need to restart Valheim for the changes to take place.

How To Change Language in Valheim Through Steam

What a lot of players don’t know is that there exists another method of changing language in Valheim. This method involves changing the language directly through Steam. Just like the first method, this one will also take you less than a minute. You can do it by following these steps:

1. Open the Steam client on your PC
2. Sign in to your account by adding your details
3. Go to your Game Library where you keep all your games stored
4. Look around for Valheim and left-click on its icon
5. Access its “Properties” by clicking on them, which will open a new menu on your screen
6. Click on the Language option which can be found on the left side under Updates
7. On the right side, click on the current language to make a list of languages appear on your screen
8. Choose your preferred language from the list

Once done, restart Steam and launch Valheim again to play it in a new language.
