Making soups and stews is easy in Project Zomboid. To make soup you first need to fill a cooking pot with water. Then you need to add up to 6 ingredients. Soup and Stew ingredients are only slightly different. Soup and Stew greatly reduce hunger, boredom, and unhappiness, and the amount of relief depends on your cooking skill.
To give you an idea, I will list some of the main ingredients that we can use in cooking recipes. If you want to see all the ingredients you can add to a recipe, you can see them in the Cooking window in the Crafting Menu.
You can use these ingredients to make soup in Project Zomboid:
- Meat: Chicken, Fish Fillet, Frog Meat, Mutton Chop, Pork Chop, Rabbit Meat, Salmon, Small Animal Meat, Small Bird Meat

How to Cook Bread in Project Zomboid
To make bread, we need to read Good Cooking Magazine Vol. 2. Thanks to this magazine, we will learn how to make Bread Dough, and when we bake it, we will have bread or if you choose the Chef occupation, you will automatically learn it at the beginning of the game.
I think bread is easier to make because the ingredients are more specific than in other dishes.
Here's what we need to make bread in Project Zomboid:
Rolling Pin which can be use as melee weapon, Water, Flour, Salt, and Yeast. After combining these ingredients, you will have your Bread Dough and when you bake it, your Bread is ready. You can make Bread Slices with your knife for your sandwiches and burgers.
How to Cook Sandwich/Burger in Project Zomboid
We need Bread Slices to make Sandwiches and Burgers. Sandwiches are cold and not cooked, Burgers need to be cooked to be fully functional. For Burgers, you can add raw ingredients and put them in the oven, or you can use cooked meat first and then add them. Both take 4 ingredients, including spices.
Bread Slices can be obtained by cutting the bread with a knife.

Cooking recipe for Stir Fry and Roasted Vegetables is very straightforward. They should be cook in a Frying Pan, Griddle Pan, or Roasting Pan. Both Stir Fry and Roasted Vegetables are made with more or less the same ingredients. They should be cooked to gain full hunger reductions and can use up to 6 ingredients including spices.
You can use these ingredients to make Stir Fry in Project Zomboid:
