So how do we fix this? Fortunately, choosing the best server for your country is easy in Tower of Fantasy as there are more than four regions to choose from. Once you select your server, keep in mind each character will be linked to the particular server it's created on. The same character can only be played on the same server, and there's no available method of server transfer. All this means is you really should pick the best server from the get-go, so you'll never feel the need to switch servers in Tower of Fantasy and start over again.

In total, there are 5 regions in Tower of Fantasy to choose from: North America, South America, EU, Asia-Pacific, and Southeast Asia. Within those regions are 30+ different servers with different populations, ranging from Smooth, Hot, to Queue servers.

How to choose servers in Tower of Fantasy

Picking the correct server for you depends on your geographical region and server preference. Once you're at the login page, tap on the server name to open up the servers list. Next, you should check the server health as indicated by the red, orange, and green icons.

The general steps to pick your preferred server are as follows:

1. Tap on the server name to open [Select Servers] menu.
2. Navigate to your relevant region.
3. Find a smooth server as indicated by a green icon, or hot server (orange icon) to join.
4. Tap on the server name to select server.

A smooth server will be less populated, whereas a hot server will have a bigger player population. It's down to your preference on which server to join. Do note, you should avoid picking any servers with a red icon, these are queue servers. Servers in queue mode are heavily populated and often lead to a long queue time. Furthermore, you could experience the Error 2618 in Tower of Fantasy, a bug that prevents you from even entering the login queue.
