There is plenty to explore on this map. The first structure that will definitely stand out is the Notre Dame cathedral recreation, which is a famous structure from the middle ages. The creator of this map managed to make it look huge, and it stands out among the surrounding houses.

Not only is there a huge cathedral in the middle of this map, but there is also an entire medieval city around it. This map has a lot of roleplaying potential, especially if you're planning on making a server and playing it with other players.

Kingdom of Galekin

Intended Minecraft Java Version: 1.18+

The Kingdom of Galekin is supposedly the biggest solo Minecraft map that was started about 10 years ago in 2012. The creator of this map regularly posts updates on this map, and has documented a large majority of the building process. It's a fantasy world that has a myriad of locations, cities, towns, villages, and mountain ranges for you to explore.

It has been consistently updated over the years as Minecraft received more updates. Furthermore, most of the structures were designed to be realistic and function properly if you decided to survive in this world. Who knows, you might even discover secrets and a couple of easter eggs in this kingdom of old.

Khiessal - Medieval Cliffside Harbor City

Intended Minecraft Java Version: 1.16.5

We'd recommend watching the video that is attached to the post of the map, it allows you to see just how much effort went into this.

Harbor Cities in the middle ages were an astonishing sight, especially because of how difficult it must've been to build such a harbor. Even though it isn't nearly as debilitating to build this in Minecraft, it still took a decent amount of time to build.
