Top 5 Melee Valorant Skins in 2023

In almost every FPS/Battle-royale game with cosmetics, owning a knife skin is a mark of prestige; it's no different in Valorant, a tactical shooter produced by Riot Games. No matter what kind of player you are, everyone uses a knife, so this is the most versatile skin you can invest in.

Therefore, let's take a look at the top 5 Valorant skins for a Melee weapon that will make you look awe-inspiring just by pulling them out. You can upgrade all knives mentioned in this article with additional VFX for 10 Radianite Points.

Elderflame Dagger

The Elderflame Dagger was added to Valorant on July 9th, 2020, as a part of the Elderflame Collection. You can purchase this melee skin for 4950 VPs in the Valorant Store.

Let's start with the most costly skin in this set. Sure, it's expensive, and it doesn't look that great on Level 1, but all it takes is 10 Radianite Points, and you’ll have one of the most beautiful skins in the game.

Once you level it up to get the VFX, the dagger is constantly burning, and its dragon scales illuminate; it just looks so outstanding! We hope that Riot decides to make a similar knife in a Karambit version in the future — such a thing could quietly be the best Valorant skin of all time.

2 /5

Oni Claw

The Oni Claw was added to Valorant on July 21st, 2020, as a part of the Oni Collection. You can purchase this melee weapon skin for 3550 VPs in the Valorant Store.

We’re moving on to one of the more popular knife skins in the game, so probably its presence shouldn’t surprise anyone. It looks gorgeous on its own, but can you imagine how awesome Oni Claws would be in various color variants? Just think about a dark/gold variant (like in the Phantom skin) — we’d spend any amount of Valorant Points on that one!

3 /5

Glitchpop Axe

The Glitchpop Axe skin was added to Valorant on February 2nd, 2021, as a part of the refreshed Glitchpop Collection. You can purchase this melee weapon skin for 4350 VPs in the Valorant Store.

The knife itself might feel a little clunky, but it makes up for it with stylish design and animations. If you're into cyberpunk stuff, be sure to save your Valorant Points and wait for this skin to appear in your store.

Moreover, the renewed Glitchpop 2.0 collection carries an exciting story, which you can hear in an interview with the Valorant developers from the Riot Games team here.

4 /5

Reaver Knife

The Reaver Knife was added to Valorant on November 3rd, 2020, as a part of the Reaver Collection. You can purchase this melee weapon skin for 3550 VPs in the Valorant Store.

Next up, we have something for the darker vibes enthusiasts — A knife from the Reaver Collection. The default version looks very clean, but if you upgrade it with the VFX effect, it looks magical!

That constant highlighting in dark blue can give the impression that some black magic influences the knife. If you already use weapons like Reaver Vandal or any other cosmetic from this skin line, you should definitely go for it!

5 /5

Prime 2.0 Karambit

The Prime 2.0 Karambit was added to Valorant on March 2nd, 2021, as a part of the refreshed Prime Collection. You can purchase this melee weapon skin for 3550 VPs in the Valorant Store.

The Prime skin collection has its roots back in the Closed Beta. All players of that time loved these skins — until now, the most popular Vandal skin is probably the Prime one — which made Riot Games release this collection twice already. In a 2021 version of this skin bundle, we get a Prime knife in the Karambit version, which looks a lot better compared to the classic Prime Axe. Many knives need to be upgraded to Level 2 to give that “breathtaking” feel. With this Prime skin for Karambit, we seem to have a complete knife without spending a single Radianite Point.

There is no individual skin that will always be the best; it all depends on your taste, and of course, the hero you play most often. This does not only apply to knives but all Valorant weapon skins. Some of you may like the Battle Pass or Tethered Realms skins; it’s all subjective.
