Deleting Clash of Clans Accounts Through The Game

The first and most common method of deleting a Clash of Clans account can be done through the game itself. When deleting an account through the Clash of Clans app, make sure you are logged into the account you want to delete, then follow the steps below:

1. Open your Settings menu

2. On the bottom left corner, click on Help and Support

3. You will be taken to the Supercell help website

4. Click on Account, then scroll down to Access/Delete Your Data

5. Go to Request deletion of your personal data

6. If you are sure that you want the permanent closure and deletion of the game account, click on Delete My Data

7. Follow the on-screen instructions, Supercell will ask you to verify your account details and confirm your actions

Once you’ve completed the steps, Supercell will take up to a few business days to process your request. Keep in mind that all in-game currency, purchases, and progress in that account will be gone!

When the account deletion has been confirmed by Supercell, they will place a 14-day window before your account is completely deleted. If you change your mind and want to cancel the deletion, you will have the option to contact Supercell Support. 

However, if you do not contact them for the 14 days, your account will be permanently deleted and the process is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will restart Clash of Clans from a new account.

Remember that you can always restart Clash of Clans with a new account without having to delete your current account. You can also switch between Clash of Clans accounts and log out from accounts without deleting them as well.

Using Email To Delete Clash of Clans Account

Alternatively, if your account has been hacked and you cannot open your Clash of Clans account to delete it from the game, you can send an email asking Supercell to delete your Clash of Clans account permanently. 

To ask Supercell to delete your Clash of Clans account, follow the steps below:

1. Open this link and click on the contact us buttonthat has a hyperlink

2. A contact form will open, and you can place in all of your relevant information

3. Under Category, choose “Something Else”

4. Fill in your player tag or account name, and provide your email so they can get back to you

5. In the message box, explain that you want your account to be deleted. If possible, provide a reason why.

Supercell will take up to a few business days to process your request and permanently delete your account. Also, make sure to check your email once in a while in case Supercell Support follows up to your request from there. 

You can also use this method to recover your Clash of Clans account in case it has been hacked.
