All Playable Dendro Characters Ranked [#1 Will Shock You!]

Nahida

God of Wisdom Buer, better known as Dendro Archon Nahida, is the pinnacle of all dendro characters in Genshin Impact. She is an amazing support character who wields a catalyst.  Once you glance over enemies, they will be damaged and marked. Any dendro reactions that occur with marked enemies then proc Tri-Karma Purification, dealing considerable damage.

Enjoy playing Nahida with a gorgeous elemental burst that summons her shrine in a very wide area within the battlefield. Inside her domain, she is granted buffs depending on the party members' elements, which are simplified below:

• Pyro: While Nahida remains within her shrine domain, the damage dealt by Tri-Karma Purification from her elemental skill is increased.
• Electro: While Nahida remains within the shrine domain, the interval between each Tri-Karma Purification from her elemental skill is decreased.
• Hydro: The shrine domain's duration is increased.

Being the god of dendro, ensure that you load Nahida with lots of elemental mastery as every single dendro elemental reaction scales with it. If you're planning to C6 Nahida to make her a busted DPS character, you can calculate the average cost to C6 a Genshin Impact character - it makes the elemental mastery and dendro element seem like a game-breaking combination.

Alhaitham

Sumeru Akademiya Scribe Alhaitham is no doubt an intimidating menace in the face of enemies. He has risen to become one of the notable dendro DPS (Damage Per Second) around, competing with long-reigning meta characters since his release. He has specific mechanics that make him very rewarding to play - possibly making him one of the most fun characters to play in Genshin Impact.

His elemental skill allows Alhaitham to immediately rush to the aimed position when it is held and rushes forward if it is tapped. Finally, his elemental burst calls forth a stadium of mirrors, where dendro light beams bounce off the walls of the domain. He scales of elemental mastery, so spread teams are ideal for him!

Yaoyao

Yaoyao is an off-field dendro support character who excels in healing and has massive potential in dendro application. She wields a polearm and has an Adeptus tool Yuegui that aids her in battle. She throws out Yuegui, a yellow bunny, that aims and launches White Jade Radishes at enemies and characters.

Her elemental burst allows generous healing and dendro application around your active character and enemies. There can be up to three Yuegui's throwing mini dendro heal bombs (an abundance of particles and animations!) so ensure that you know how to fix Genshin Impact from freezing or fix Genshin Impact black screens if you suspect your computer is not powerful enough to handle these additional animations.

Baizhu

Baizhu, the owner of Bubu Pharmacy, is an excellent dendro support character who aids in both damage and healing departments. Similar reasoning to Kuki Shinobu, I believe this is a rare yet powerful combination to have in Genshin Impact.

For Baizhu's elemental skill, he summons forth a homing dendro snake, and his elemental burst provides the active character with a dendro shield that emits a dendro projectile when it expires, simultaneously healing the active character. He seriously is definitely one of the broken playable characters at the moment.

Kaveh

The Alcazarzaray Palace Architect Kaveh is a 4-star claymore onfield DPS that has a niche playstyle, revolving around the bloom dendro reaction. His elemental skill forces all surrounding dendro cores to immediately explode.

Kaveh's elemental burst is similar to his elemental skill, except he becomes an on-field DPS with buffed and dendro-infused normal and charged attacks. Just ensure that you can bring along a reliable hydro off-field applier in your team for Kaveh to wreak havoc with!

Tighnari

Tighnari, our Avidya Chief Officer, is a 5-star bow wielder that is extremely skilled in dealing explosive dendro damage in a very short amount of time. He focuses on quick consecutive charged shots to annihilate any enemies in his view.

Tighnari's elemental skill allows him to throw a spore bomb toward the enemies, leaving a spore field that confuses enemies inside it while buffing him, providing him with decreased time to fire 3 of his special charged shots. His elemental burst allows Tighnari to launch a total of 12 dendro shots at enemies. 

Dendro Traveler

The Dendro traveler was once regarded as one of the best support characters when dendro first came out, but if you are low on primogems and need a dendro applier, the Dendro traveler's elemental burst can be just what you need for your team.

Dendro traveler's elemental skill is not so bright though - it's just a damaging wave of dendro in a cone shape. You might also be required to equip energy recharge affiliated artifacts and weapons in order to have the traveler's elemental burst ready once your team rotation is complete.

Collei

A free 4-star bow wielder, Collei is a decent character to have in your arsenal. She has an okay kit that allows her to provide a decent amount of dendro application, but with that said, I feel that she does not really excel in the damage department as well.

Her elemental skill throws off a boomerang that can damage enemies twice, applying the dendro element. Her elemental burst allows Collei to throw her doll to provide a damaging dendro field.

Kirara

Inazuma's renowned Konamiya Express Courier Kirara is a 4-star support character that focuses on providing shields for the team. In my opinion, her shield provided by her elemental skill provides sub-par shielding.

With the damage aspect aide, Kirara is such a nice character to have. I personally don't use her in my combat teams - but she is definitely part of my exploring team. If you were to hold her elemental skill, you can transform into her cat parcel form, where she is able to climb vertical terrain. Don't quote me, but she's by far the most overpowered explore character Genshin Impact has released (sorry Venti and Kazuha!)
