Ranking Every Playable Electro Character in Genshin Impact

Raiden Shogun

Inazuma's reigning leader and Electro Archon Raiden Shogun is the best electro character. I regard her as the best on-field electro DPS, and being an electro user myself, I build most of my teams around her. She is capable of dealing massive electro damage with her elemental burst, where she first swings her katana over a wide range in front of her, changing into a sword wielder for a brief moment.

Building her with energy recharge allows her to also buff the entire team with an endless supply of energy recharge. Her elemental skill allows her to buff the entire team's elemental burst damage, and whenever the team uses their respective elemental burst, Raiden Shogun's elemental burst becomes stronger too. I'm considering the average cost to C6 a Genshin Impact character because of her.

Fischl

Another amazing free 4-star bow wielder that until today, is still regarded as one of the best 4-stars in the entire Genshin Impact game. She is an off-field DPS that can compete with even 5-star limited characters in terms of damage too! She is a great character to invest in if you're trying to learn how to save primogems in Genshin Impact because, with her, you can technically defeat almost all the content Genshin Impact has to offer.

Fischl's elemental skill summons Oz, her companion bird, to shoot electro projectiles at enemies. The interval between each projectile is short, making Oz a machine gun that deals considerable damage throughout the duration while providing a ton of energy for your active characters, especially energy-hungry electro characters! Her elemental burst allows her to transform into a giant bird for a while, damaging all in her path.

Kuki Shinobu

Kuki Shinobu's usage rate and utility shot up the roof with the introduction of dendro reactions in Genshin Impact. She has an overwhelmingly effective elemental skill that can both heal the active character and damage surrounding enemies, inflicting them with the electro element.

Kuki Shinobu's healing on her elemental skill scales with elemental mastery, hence why many players have picked her up. For me, she is most definitely one of the must-built characters to have (trust me, she can have the worst artifacts in Genshin Impact but as long as you put her with elemental mastery, she will still manage to do her part).

Yae Miko

Raiden Shogun's servant and friend, Guuji Yae is a cunningly elusive 5-star catalyst wielder who specializes in off-field damage with her elemental skill. She can summon up to three turrets that provide homing electric shocks at nearby enemies. When placed close to each other, they can deal higher damage. Yae Miko's burst summons a lightning bolt into the sky, frying enemies at sight. 

She is a character that is really interesting to play. I really like to use her because I can learn how to dodge in Genshin Impact using her elemental skill. Aside from that, she can easily become the driver for hyperbloom teams as her kit scales with elemental mastery.

Kujou Sara

The General for the Tenryou Commision Kujou Sara is a tengu that is a very potent support character when built properly. Her elemental burst calls forth lightning strikes on enemies. It then forks away from the center in an X-formation, damaging all enemies in its path.

I use her mainly for her elemental skill, which allows her to retreat quickly while gaining a buff to reduce the duration needed to charge a shot. Her next charged shot will leave a crowfeather, which when any active character interacts with it, gains an attack bonus depending on Kujou Sara's damage. The attack damage bonus should not be taken for granted, so do not equip the worst weapons in Genshin Impact, please!

Cyno

Cyno the General Mahamatra is a 5-star polearm user who is an elemental-mastery scaling DPS. Personally, his animations slightly remind me of Razor, but his damage capability far exceeds him. His elemental burst allows Cyno to enter his Endseer (enhanced) state where he claws through enemies. This also transforms his elemental skill into a lunge that emits 3 smaller projectiles launched in a cone formation.

One thing that might be worth remembering is his split scaling, where he actually converts his elemental mastery into attack. You must therefore decide a playstyle you're comfortable playing.

Beidou

Liyue's Pirate Queen Biedou is a notable 4-star claymore character that has a rather powerful elemental burst. She is usually played as an off-field sub-DPS that can provide amazing electro application and damage output. Beidou's elemental skill is a holdable skill that puts Beidou into a parry stance, waiting for an enemy's strike. If her elemental skill is correctly executed, she does a massive swing, dealing a large amount of electro damage.

Through experience, I would play Beidou mainly for her elemental burst as it deals a lot of damage throughout its duration. Beidou can be paired with a physical DPS like Eula to provide the electro element needed for superconduct. Her burst provides the active character with a shield that increases knockback resistance and decreases damage taken.

Keqing

Liyue's Yuheng Keqing is a 5-star sword wielder who boasts easy electro infusion for her normal attack with her elemental skill and a burst that can deal with multiple enemies all at once. Keqing elemental skill has two parts - she first sends forth a stiletto at enemies, and she does different actions depending on your next action.

Her teleportation effect makes it also one of the most fun characters to play in Genshin Impact, where you can use it to dodge enemy attacks, as well as climb difficult terrain whenever the situation calls for it.

Electro Traveler

The almighty Traveler's electro kit is pretty powerful in the right hands. Traveler's elemental skill deals electro damage to enemies while dropping amulets on the ground. Any party members who pick it up can enjoy free energy and increased energy recharge. The elemental burst summons a lightning aura that restores energy for the active character when a normal or charged attack lands on an opponent.

The electro traveler is one of the better traveler versions that can help team compositions with energy recharge issues if needed, thus making it slightly more useful than other element variants. Another notable fact is that the electro traveler is one of the few characters that can provide an energy recharge buff!

Lisa

Our first playable electro character in the entire Genshin Impact Lisa is a 4-star versatile catalyst user. She is one of the more flexible characters in Genshin Impact, where her role is entirely up to you! Her elemental skill is a fairly large damaging AoE electro strike that increases in damage depending if you use the tap or hold version. Her elemental burst summons a lantern that will continuously strike surrounding opponents, dealing electro damage.

Lisa's burst makes her a potential electro-element applier if you lack one. Although her kit screams on-field DPS (Damage Per Second), she can be played as an off-field sub-DPS. One thing is for sure, she is one of the hottest and prettiest characters in Genshin Impact!

Dori

Dori the Sumeru Merchant is another 4-star support character that provides healing for the team. For her elemental skill, she shoots off an electro projectile that splits into two smaller homing projectiles at the enemies. Her elemental burst summons her cute purple jinni, connecting the character near it with heals and energy. If any enemies come into contact with the link between the jinni and your active character, they will suffer from electro damage.

In my opinion, Dori's kit is a bit unclear due to her conflicting elemental skill and elemental burst. With just a damaging elemental skill, it does not provide any other utility for the team aside from being a form of electro battery.

Razor

Razor is a 4-star electro claymore unit that has the capability to dish out an ample amount of AoE damage. His elemental skill summons a wolf claw that deals electro damage, providing Razor with a sigil that grants him energy for his burst. When Razor uses his elemental burst, any sigil he has is converted into energy while dealing AoE electro damage. This also summons the wolf spirit to fight with him, providing him with many buffs.

In the current meta, Razor might not see as much use as other electro characters because his kit is rather plain. However, it does not mean that Razor is a poorly-made character!
