10 Best Dashing Abilities in LoL for Quick Movement

1 /10

Vayne Q -Tumble

As one of the best scaling champions in League of Legends, Vayne's Q is nothing special at first. It has a cooldown of 4 seconds and only offers 75% bonus physical damage on the first of her next basic attacks, in the process of stacking her true damage.

LoL - Vayne Q

At level 5, however, her next auto attack is empowered by 115% of her attack damage, and the ability has a cooldown of only two seconds, making it easy to spam. Its only limitation is that it can't go over walls.

2 /10

Rakan W - Grand Entrance

Rakan has two dashing abilities in his kit, both of which are incredibly useful. As a standalone ability, however, his W is far better. It's essentially Alistar's W plus Q combo, in one ability, allowing Rakan to dash for 600 units, and knock up enemies caught in its hitbox, dealing magic damage.

LoL - Rakan W

It's Rakan's main way of engaging on enemy champions, and coupled with his ultimate, makes him one of the best engage support champions in League of Legends!

3 /10

Pyke E - Phantom Undertow

As one of the best roaming support champions, it's only natural that one of the best dashing abilities can be found in Pyke's kit.

His E is a directed dash that needs to target to cast, which allows Pyke to go through enemy units, and stun them with the phantom that follows after a short delay, dealing damage to champions.

LoL - Pyke E

Coupled with a flash, this ability can stun the entire enemy team in a pinch, or be used as a disengage. Its range can even be extended with Pyke's ultimate. The combo possibilities are endless.

4 /10

Tristana W - Rocket Jump

From level 2 onwards, Tristana becomes one of the best bot lane bullies, as she levels her W. This ability allows Tristana to jump onto enemies from 900 units away, and deal magic damage.

LoL - Tristana W

Upon scoring a takedown, her W cooldown is reset, allowing Tristana to safely disengage from the fight, or run the down the enemy in turn. In a team fight, Tristana can jump from one side of the fight to the other, picking and choosing where to fight, with her W.

5 /10

Tryndamere E - Spinning Slash

The namesake of this champion is found in the very ability name, as Tryndamere is known as the spin-to-win champion because of his dash. His E has a range of 660 units and deals significant physical damage to enemies.

LoL - Tryndamere E

The main component of the ability, however, is that the cooldown lowers by 1.5 seconds for every critical strike against an enemy hit with his auto attacks, making it spammable. Seeing as Tryndamere gains crit chance based on his Fury, crits are a dime a dozen with this champion!

6 /10

Kai'Sa R - Killer Instinct

Kai'Sa's ultimate ability, Killer Instinct, is the main reason that Kai'Sa is one of the best juke champions in League of Legends, and is one of the best high elo bot lane champions.

LoL - Kai'Sa R

It's the dash ability with the largest range in League of Legends, having a range of 3000 units at level 3. In addition, it also gives Kai'Sa a shield that scales with her AD!

Despite the large cooldown as an ultimate ability, all of these effects more than make up for it!

7 /10

Kha'Zix E - Leap

Kha'Zix is one of the hardest champions to play in League of Legends, due to the high APM requirements to bring out his full potential. However, this high skill ceiling is precisely what makes his E so powerful.

LoL - Kha'Zix E

When evolved, it has a range of 700 units, deals a lot of physical damage, and resets upon scoring a champion takedown. Furthermore, his other abilities can be cast during its animation, and the animation itself can be interrupted with a recast, for a quick getaway.

8 /10

Riven Q - Broken Wings

Every top lane main has had a stint trying to master Riven. She is the ultimate top lane one-trick champion, due to her Q which can be cast three times before going on cooldown.

LoL - Riven Q

Each of the three casts is a dash, whose animation can be interrupted, with the third cast also having a knock-up effect. The ability is straightforward, but its usage has infinite nuance and potential!

9 /10

Bel'Veth Q - Void Surge

Speaking of a single ability that can be used multiple times, each of which is a dash, we have Bel'Veth's Q ability. It has 4 stacks, meaning Be'veth can dash 4 times in succession.

The ability applies on-hit effects, can do a critical strike, and deals base physical damage.

LoL - Bel'Veth Q

The only downsides of the ability are that the four stacks can only be used in four different directions and that the ability doesn't allow Bel'Veth to go through terrain.

But, for all of these effects and four dashes on one of the most overloaded champions in LoL, one that can gain bonus attack speed with no cap to infinity, it's definitely at the top of all dash abilities!

10 /10

Ahri R - Spirit Rush

The final entry on our list is an amalgamation of all of the abilities from above. Ahri's R ability is her main ability for setting up plays and makes her one of the best burst mages in LoL.

Upon activation, it allows Ahri to dash three times, with a range of 500 units. When scoring a takedown, the ability can store one more dash, up to three dashes, that can be used after 10 seconds each.

LoL - Ahri R

Aside from giving Ahri a lot of movement, every dash also deals magical damage to up to three nearby enemy champions, making it the best dash ability in LoL.
