The Overwatch Battle Pass is a tier-based system; there are 80 tiers of rewards, and you must earn Experience to level up to the next tier, unlocking it and its respective reward. So, how do we level it up fast, and get our loot? We can already tell you that it will mostly be about completing challenges.
Through Daily Challenges
Daily challenges are the easiest way to complete the Battle Pass, and a good way to level up fast. Still, if you only rely on them, the grind will take ages. They give a small but daily boost to the battle pass, and completing 3 daily challenges gives a boost large enough to complete a whole tier.
Examples of daily challenges are winning games, completing games, earning eliminations, and so on. Make sure to complete 3 daily challenges if you want to level up fast.
Through Weekly Challenges
Weekly challenges are the next step up from the Daily challenges. Whilst they may take longer, they are extremely worth it if you are desiring the Battle Pass' rewards. Each Weekly challenge grants 5000 exp, meaning two weekly challenges levels you up one tier.
There are 11 weekly challenges every week, granting you 10 tiers in your Battle Pass and a half worth of experience if you complete them all.
An example of a weekly challenge could be winning 10 games, or another number of games but in certain game modes. Not only do they help out in Battle Pass experience, completing enough challenges also grants coins to use in the Shop. So, go complete all the weekly challenges, and enjoy your Battle Pass XP!
Through Seasonal Challenges
Seasonal challenges are a small but interesting way to level up your Battle Pass. They are based on the current season's new hero and/or map, granting you experience points for using the hero in unique ways, and by performing well on the new map. They grant over a tier's worth of experience, and aren't hard to complete, so working on them when you can will give you a quick experience boost for the Pass.
We know that it might be boring to complete all the seasonal challenges, but if you really care about going through all the Overwatch 2 Battle Pass levels as fast as possible, you cannot neglect it.
By Playing Games
As simple as it may seem, playing games is a way of levelling your Overwatch 2 Battle Pass. Whilst completing your Daily, Weekly, Seasonal Challenges, you also gain a small amount of experience every game. 100 XP is granted each match, with 150 XP per win. If you queue into successive games, you will gain an extra 100 XP every game.
It should also be noted that queueing with friends boosts your experience gain by 20%. So bring your friends along for the grind.
By Purchasing The Premium Battle Pass
Some players don't want to buy the Pass or complete as many challenges as possible, and that's fine. But for players who are pretty much sure they want the Pass' rewards, buying the Pass early can actually benefit them.
Premium players gain a 20% increase to all experience gains during the season, so as long as they are certain they can complete all the tiers, it's better to buy the Pass sooner than later. And, of course, if you pay for the Premium Pass, you gain access to many different rewards, and tiers, as well as a Mythic Tier skin.
All in all, if you just focus on completing your daily and weekly challenges, as well as completing all the lifetime challenges, you should be fine with achieving your desired Battle Pass level by casually playing matches in a free to play model. Still, if you are desperate about some rewards, you might want to consider buying the premium version of a Battle Pass.
