Michael Dapr Gulino also known as “Dapr”, was already a known name in North America as a CS2 (CSGO) player. With his experience and success on teams like Team Singularity and Bad News Bears, he seemed like the perfect fit on one of Valorant’s first superteams.
When talking about Dapr Valorant career, it's important to not underestimate his impact on the Sentinels' run to win the Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavik. His clutch plays coming off expert lurks, combined with timely utility usage in post plant situations won a lot of important rounds for that roster. So in this article we are going to take a look at Dapr Valorant settings that enable his clutch performance.
DAPR MOUSE SETTINGS
In the table below we have Dapr Valorant mouse settings, and immediately we can see a common occurrence. Most professional Valorant players rarely go out of the 400-800 DPI range and Dapr is no different. He also uses the Logitech G Pro X mouse that seems to be the norm among professional FPS players.
DPI | 400 |
Sensitivity | 0,66 |
eDPI | 264 |
Zoom Sensitivity | 1 |
Frequency | 1000 Hz |
Windows Sensitivity | 6 |
Raw Input Buffer | On |
His 0,66 Valorant sensitivity setting makes up for his low DPI of 400, so it rounds out to an EDPI of 264 which is right in line with most pro averages. In our best mouse settings article we talked about how EDPI is the most important mouse setting, so you should definitely check it out.
DAPR CROSSHAIR SETTINGS
When looking at Dapr Valorant settings we can see that his crosshair is similar to other pros playing his position and role. In our best crosshair colors article we talked about how effective the Green color is, especially with outlines on.
With the Center Dot turned Off and a 1325 inner lines, you get one of the cleanest crosshairs in Valorant for mid range combat. With movement error and firing error turned off, it's also really easy to control the spray of weapons like the Phantom.
DPI | 400 |
Sensitivity | 0,66 |
eDPI | 264 |
Zoom Sensitivity | 1 |
Frequency | 1000 Hz |
Windows Sensitivity | 6 |
Raw Input Buffer | On |
This is especially important since, as the Sentinels main Controller, he’s an integral piece in their post plant situations and that requires some spraying through smokes to defend the spike. The outer lines are also turned off which makes Dapr Valorant crosshair smaller and makes spray transfers much easier.
DAPR KEYBIND SETTINGS
With him using the Corsair K70 keyboard, Dapr Valorant keybind settings are a bit unusual compared to other pros. He uses E to Use Object and the mouse wheel to equip the primary weapon. He uses Mouse Button 5 to equip the secondary weapon and Mouse Button 4 to equip the Melee weapon. All of these are unusual since most pro players settings are set to default, but in the end it boils down to preference.
Walk | L-Shift |
Crouch | L-Ctrl |
Jump | Space Bar |
Use Object | E |
Equip Primary Weapon | Mouse Wheel Up/ Mouse Wheel Down |
Equip Secondary Weapon | Mouse Button 5 |
Equip Melee Weapon | Mouse Button 4 |
Equip Spike | 4 |
Use / Equip Ability: 1 | V |
Use / Equip Ability: 2 | 3 |
Use / Equip Ability: 3 | C |
Use / Equip Ability: Ultimate | X |
He is one of the few pros that use the mouse buttonsregularly but it seems to work out for him. The keys that he uses for his abilities are V 3 C and X which are also unusual when compared to other pros. Dapr might be onto something with this Corsair K70 keyboard, and we might just not know it yet.
DAPR MAP SETTINGS
In our best map settings article we discussed how important it is to have a rotating minimap, but it seems that’s not the case with Dapr. Dapr Valorant settings show that he uses a Fixed minimap that rotates based on the side.
Rotate | Fixed |
Fixed Orientation | Based On Side |
Keep Player Centered | Off |
Minimap Size | 1,1 |
Minimap Zoom | 0,9 |
Minimap Vision Cones | On |
Show Map Region Names | Always |
Equip Spike | 4 |
Use / Equip Ability: 1 | V |
Use / Equip Ability: 2 | 3 |
Use / Equip Ability: 3 | C |
Use / Equip Ability: Ultimate | X |
This might be helpful in competitive and organized play but we definitely don't recommend it in Ranked lobbies. The minimap size and minimap zoom are right in line with our recommendations in our minimap article, which you should definitely check out.
DAPR VIDEO SETTINGS
In the table below we can see Dapr Valorant video settings that combined with his Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, help him get the biggest advantage possible. Riot Games created this game in a way that the maximum value of settings like Anti Aliasing and Improve Quality can be gained only when using a high end GPU. Yet most pros who naturally have access to these graphic cards, barely use them. Maybe it's a habit from the CS2 (CSGO) days, but when looking at most pros' video settings we can see the same pattern.
Resolution | 1920x1080 |
Aspect Ratio | 16:9 |
Aspect Ratio Method | Fill |
Display Mode | Fullscreen |
Multithreaded Rendering | On |
Material Quality | Low |
Texture Quality | Low |
Detail Quality | Low |
UI Quality | Low |
Vignette | Off |
VSync | Off |
Anti-Aliasing | None |
Anisotropic Filtering | 1x |
Improve Clarity | Off |
Experimental Sharpening | Off |
Bloom | Off |
Distortion | Off |
Cast Shadows | Off |
Everything is set on low or turned off, with the default resolution, except the Multithreaded Rendering. This settings helps create a clearer image and Dapr Valorant settings show that he values that a lot. Even person shadows are turned off, but I guess this setting is not as useful or needed as in CS2 (CSGO). In our best graphic settings article we touched upon the meaning of all these settings, so if you are curious you should definitely check it out.
