How to Delete Your Valorant Account: Complete Guide

Valorant has become an addictive game like CS: GO over the past years it has been released. And it's completely normal for some players to want to delete their Riot account. It's a simple process to delete your Valorant account, but some players have a hard time doing it.

So if you've wanted to delete your account, but don't know how to, then don't worry! Here we'll see how you can delete your Valorant account!

How to Delete Account - Valorant

A disclaimer before you go ahead and delete your Valorant account: know that you'll have 30 days before it's completely deleted. What this means is that if you change your mind about deleting your Riot account, you can request to get it back. After 30 days of your deletion request for the account, it's gone for good and you can't enjoy the best Vandal skins anymore! Now here's a step-by-step guide to deleting your Valorant account:

Get to the Valorant Support Website and Log In

To delete your Riot Games Valorant account, firstly you'll head to the Valorant Support Page. Then you'll want to log into your Riot Games account by clicking on the Sign In button in the top right corner. Put in your Riot account username as well as the other Valorant account details and click on Log In.

1

Once you've logged in to the Valorant Support page, there are tons of options such as seeing how much money you've spent on Valorant. But to delete your Valorant account, you'll have to request a ticket on the Valorant Support page.

Click on Submit a Ticket and Request Deletion

On the top of the Valorant support page, you'll notice an option called "Submit a Ticket". Click it and you should notice a webpage like below. Here you can get help for all Valorant error codes, as well as start requesting account deletion.

2

Now, to proceed with the deletion you'll have to click on the "Choose a Request Type" drop-down menu. There are multiple options, but the request type option you'll want to select is "Account Management, Data Requests, or Deletion". While this option serves your data request and account management needs, you can also delete a Riot Games Valorant account.

Fill in the Ticket and Submit the Request

When you selected the option above from the drop-down menu, the support page should've led you to a new page like the below one:

3

On this page you'll have to fill in the form to permanently delete the Riot Games Valorant account you're using. Here's how you should fill in the ticket to delete your Valorant account:

  • Choose a request type: Account Management, Data Requests, or Deletion
  • Subject: Riot Games Valorant Account Deletion
  • Description: state the reason why you want to delete your account
  • Region: select the region where your account resides in
  • Please select your inquiry: Account Deletion

Once you select the last option, you'll be prompted to prove ownership and verify that you want to get your account fully deleted with the self-service option. Make sure you click on Verify and tick all the boxes. The boxes basically tell you if you don't want your account to get fully deleted alongside your best skins, you'll have to reply to the ticket within 30 days.

4

Another box you'll have to tick is the "I acknowledge this request will delete all my information across all Riot Games". This brings us to the next point of you deleting your Valorant account: you're actually deleting your whole Riot Games account. So if you've used the account you're trying to delete to play games like Teamfight Tactics or League of Legends, then you won't be able to use the same account for those games again

When you fill in the form above and consent to all the options, you'll have to click on Submit at the bottom of the page.

Wait for an Email Response

After you click on the Submit button, you'll get an email from Riot Games. You'll have to respond to that email with a short message confirming you'll want to delete your account. Riot will also tell you that you won't be able to log into your account after you've submitted the request above. Then you'll have to wait 30 days until the deletion completes.

If you wish to keep your account though, Riot Games will also inform you of that in their email. They'll give you an exact date when the account will be deleted. And if you don't want it to get deleted, you must respond to their email and ticket at least 5 days before the given date.
