How To Get Colored Text In Valorant [Codes Won't Work]

The option to change text color in Valorant isn't available anymore. 

It was basically a bug that was letting the players have fun and send their messages in color. The available colors were the ones corresponding with the various "system" or player messages you would receive instead.

Each color had its own purpose, and by using the HTML tag before the text, you would indicate to the system to send the message as such.

• Red text color was marked as a message from enemy
• Blue text color was marked as a message from a teammate
• Yellow text color was marked as a message from the System
• Green text color was marked as a notification message
• last but not least, Pink was marked as a warning message

So yeah, as we said before it's not rocket science, just a bug that was letting you trick the game into thinking you were sending a colorful message from a system entity. It was available in team chat, all chat & private message.

Why Don't The HTML Codes Work Anymore In Valorant Chat

Valorant devs never intended to have a feature that would allow the players to send chat messages in color in the first place. A Valorant text chat is not supposed to have HTML codes in it, and tricking the System was not something Riot Games liked. This led the dev team to commit to fixing the bug and for a couple of months, the option was disabled.

I personally take it for the better as the game is "colorful" enough and if available, you would probably use to change text color in the game just once or twice. Only colors that you can change in the game as of now for enemy highlight colors and Valorant crosshairs.

Also, a colored Valorant chat will drive your already short attention span and distract you from the real goal in the game. So yeah, focus on getting Radiant rank instead, and keep your priorities, VCT Champions won't win itself.
