7 Best LoL Forums You Need To Check Out

Best LoL Reddit Pages

1 /7

Official League of Legends

Reddit has, by far, the biggest League of Legends platform where players can engage with each other and Riot employees alike. The first forum on our list is the official League of Legends subreddit.

The name of the subreddit itself changes often, to denote significant happenings in the League of Legends community.

However, the posts themselves are quite regulated, and mostly focus around patch notes and eSports, with other, unofficial subreddits taking on their own niche.

Summoner School

When it comes to beginner players, those that are returning to the game after a long break, or merely those that need a helping hand, the Summoner School subreddit is an LoL forum for you!

On this forum, there are no stupid questions, and players are focused on helping each other, especially the new players, to learn the game, and perhaps even climb the ranked ladder.

And, while the subreddit does not take itself particularly seriously, there are still standards of conduct. For those that are looking for some laughs, there are specialized places for that as well.

3 /7

League of Memes

As the name suggests, this subreddit is a forum dedicated to League of Legends memes, and the only regulation on posts, in general, is how well-received it is by those that frequent it.

Unlike the first two subreddits, here you will find everything from well-crafted League of Legends jokes, over cheesy repetitions of classics, all the way to dunking on annoying champions or those favored by the meta, or those that are overtuned, sometimes with good cause. Looking at you Yuumi!

If, however, you want to learn anything about the game, or find out news from the wider League of Legends world, then we suggest you stick to the first two forums on our list!

4 /7

Official LoL Discord

All of the above are forums in the traditional sense, with fans communicating with each other through posts and comments.

However, League of Legends also has a dedicated Discord server, for a more direct way of connecting with players, where you can participate in discussions and even, as was the case a few times in the past with the most active members asked for opinions to influence the direction of the game.

LoL - Discord Invite

The best feature of the Discord server is, of course, the quick response to queries, such as the server status if your game won't load, as well as finding premades to play the game with.

Social Media Forums

For more tangible benefits, you can also join the various League of Legends social media and get yourselves some free skins in the process. Of course, some social media are far more active than others.

5 /7

LoL - Facebook

Facebook is one of the oldest League of Legends social media, and liking the League of Legends Facebook page also gets you the Riot Girl Tristana skin for free. All you need to do is follow the instructions on the Facebook page to redeem it.

LoL - Facebook

The Facebook page, however, is not the most active of the LoL social media, or LoL forums in general, and mostly regurgitates the news coming from other sources first.

6 /7

LoL - Twitter

Now, following the LoL Twitter handle gets you the Dreadknight Garen skin. It's also a great way to find all news related to League of Legends before they are implemented in the game.

LoL - Twitter

The best way to do so, however, is to keep track of not only what the official LoL Twitter handle posts but the things posted by Riot employees as well. The patch previews are always announced on Twitter first, for example!

7 /7

LoL - YouTube

Subscribing to the official League of Legends YouTube channel gets you the Unchained Alistar skin. However, that is not the main draw of this forum, but the quality of the videos they post.

The official League of Legends YouTube has everything from interviews with high-ranking RIot employees explaining what goes into designing a champion, to the incredible songs composed in collaboration with famous artists to kick off every LoL season.

Lol - YouTube

And for those of you that are in love with the League of Legends lore, the YouTube channel is of immense significance, as quite a few videos give us insight into the lives of our favorite champions, that we wouldn't have otherwise.

Whether you're joining the discussion on the various subreddits, finding friends via the Discord servers, or visiting all of these forums just to browse the information, remember not to reinforce the toxicity standards that are already present in the game. These LoL forums are meant to be safe spaces for gamers after all!
