Yuumi has a win rate of 48.62% in patch 12.15, but that doesn’t stop people playing the Support champion! She has a 10.16% play rate and a whopping 47.37% ban rate. This is because of how difficult it is to play against her with her invulnerability and how good she is in team fights.

First off, we will start with the best Yuumi Support rune build, which focuses on the Sorcery runes as a primary and the Precision tree as a secondary!

Having Summon Aery allows for extra poke in the lane with Yuumi’s Prowling Projectile! When combined with Manaflow Band, Transcendence, and Scorch, Yuumi can actually hit an enemy for a surprising amount of magic damage quite frequently without running out of mana as Manaflow band restores mana.

In the Precision tree, Yuumi gets extra Attack Speed. You want to take Presence of Mind, as it allows Yuumi to rapidly regenerate her mana after damaging an enemy - which as we have already established, is key!

Cut Down allows Yuumi to do more damage to champions with more HP than her, which is most champions. The trade-off for being able to go untargetable with her You and Me is that she is really squishy!

With your skill order, the main ability you want to prioritize is Q, Prowling Projectile. This is because the more you level it, the more damage and the more frequently you can use it - which is crucial for the laning phase. Next, you want to level E, Zoomies to get the movement speed boost utility. Finally, you want to level W, You and Me, as you only need it when Yuumi dashes to an enemy.

You should of course have Yuumi’s Ultimate Ability, Final Chapter leveled up at 6,12, and 16, as this is her main form of crowd control.

Yuumi wants to keep Shard of True Ice and Moonstone Renewer, and upgrade the second Bandleglass Mirror into a Chemtech Purifier. This applies Grevious Wounds of 25% to enemy champions and gives 60 AP, 20 Ability Haste and 100% Base Mana Regen. Arden Censer increases Yuumi’s utility and healing, as well as giving her 60 AP, 8% Heal and Shield Power, and 100% Base Mana Regen too.

Mikael’s Blessing is like a Quicksilver Sash for Supports, meaning Yuumi can have a get-out-of-jail-free card for an allied champion - usually best used on the champion she is on. It also gives more buffs; increasing the same stats as the previous items along with 50 Magic Resist. These three champions are all Support champions that specialize in locking you down. Since Amumu got two charges of his Q, Bandage Toss, he can get onto the ADC, and Yuumi provides no peel. Pantheon and Morgana are easy enough to keep at range as a Yuumi, which is where she wants her enemies, if your ADC can kite or position correctly, you should easily be able to win the lane! This is what makes Yuumi so hard to deal with!

Ashe is similar as she has a relatively short auto attack range, but she has no real method of getting close to you. If she uses her ultimate ability, Enchanted Crystal Arrow, you can dismount, and Yuumi channels her ultimate ability, Final Chapter.
