The Reason Behind Valorant Error Code VAN 9002

The Valorant Error Code VAN 9002 might be a bit tricky to understand because it's not directly related to the Riot Client. While you try to log in to the Valorant game through the Riot Client, the Valorant Error Code VAN 9002 will appear. It may seem that the Riot Client may be at fault, but that is simply not the case.

What this means is that your Riot Client can’t load up Valorant due to your Windows PC setting up restrictions for the Riot Vanguard, which loads up with the Riot Client. The Control Flow Guard is a security measurement from your Windows PC, and the Riot Client and Vanguard do not have access to it. It can appear for no reason, or after a Windows update or specific PC updates. Knowing why you are getting the error code is key because next, you’ll learn how to fix Error Code VAN 9002!
