6 Best Bruiser Junglers in League of Legends

1 /6

Vi

Starting off with the star of Arcane, Riot's Netflix hit series, we have ViShe is one of the easiest League of Legends jungler to play, due to how simple her kit is.

Don't let that fool you, however, as Vi is more than capable of carrying games on her own. Her kit allows her to set up her own ganks easily, while her passive grants her a shield equal to 10% of her health.

Her ultimate, coupled with her stacked W, is enough to almost one-shot an enemy ADC with her empowered auto attacks, which is all you can ask for from a jungle in a teamfight. With Vi, even the League beginners can carry games.

2 /6

Warwick

Keeping in line with simple and easy champions to play in the jungle, we have Warwick, is an archetypal jungle bruiser. Warwick is a jungle with a lot of mobility and healing, making it easy to blitz around the map, and take down enemy targets.

His abilities deal damage to the enemy while healing Warwick at the same time, making his survivability and killing potential go hand in hand.

In Riot's own classification, Warwick is a diver champion and one that is even more durable than Vi. These champions are the ones that quickly latch onto the enemy hyper carry, posing enough of a threat that the enemy is forced to focus them so they don't kill their VIP.

Warwick, like most bruisers, is an early-game champion that peak during mid-game and falls off late game, so ending games before they reach the end game is always a priority.

3 /6

Hecarim

Hecarim is a champion that can only be used effectively by someone that knows how to play League of Legends already, instead of learning it. This is because Hecarim's playstyle is different than that of Warwick's, even though they are both bruiser champions.

Hecarim's playstyle relies on hit-and-run tactics instead of all-out damage. His speed is what gives him survivability, more than his tankiness, and he doesn't deal consistent damage the way Warwick does.

Instead, a good Hecarim will run by the enemy team when team fighting, or even ult in-between them thus fearing multiple enemies, and then follow up with his Q to stack Rampage.

By stacking his Rampage, he will then deal an insane amount of damage, though that needs some time and a team that knows to take extended fights that benefit Hecarim.

4 /6

Xin Zhao

Xin Zhao is one fo the oldest LoL champions and has entrenched himself as one of its best bruisers. This is because his passive offers him healing from the percentage of his maximum AD.

This way Xin's survivability is directly tied to his ability to deal damage to enemies. In other words, the more damage Xin Zhao is capable of dealing, the more damage he is capable of tanking!

Whether it's in a jungle, or in team fights, Xin Zhao is a great duelist, that can easily get on the enemy carry and demolish them with his combos. And, with Zin's ultimate, protecting them is nothing more than a pipe dream!

5 /6

Lee Sin

When one thinks of the jungle role, Lee Sin is the first champion that comes to mind. That is due to his playstyle which allows players to be extremely creative with his abilities.

Aside from the shields on his E, however, his build path makes Lee Sin into a great bruiser champion, by building Goredrinker to take advantage of him being a his great engage to get a lot of healing.

LoL - Lee Sin Splash Art

Lee Sin is famous for having a strong early game, more so than even other bruiser champions. His damage was enough to have him played in the mid lane for a while even!

With the number of possible combos to pull off with Lee Sin, he is one of the best champions to dedicate your time to mastering.

6 /6

Olaf

Olaf is one of the champions that is easy to pick up, but difficult to master, due to the peculiarities of his abilities. There is no denying that he is an incredible bruiser jungler, with a good clear that can outpace the enemy jungler due to his healing.

With his axe throws he can run down enemy melee champions easily, though he suffers against ranged champions during the early stages of the game due to their poke and crowd control.

During the later stages of the game, however, there is no stopping Olaf as he can ignore crowd control abilities with his ultimate. Coupled with his passive, which grants him attack speed and life steal based on missing health, Olaf is literally created to be in the thick of things and survive.
