Champions in Teamfight Tactics are differentiated by having different tiers. Currently, there are 5 tiers in the game, and each has different stats and shop prices. As you can see, there is already a pattern for the new sets. Teamfight Tactics Set 3 to 7 has the same number of champions. Still, you have to remember that each particular champion has different stats, such as magic resistance, attack speed, attack damage, etc. Nevertheless, there are some sets that have the same champions but have different stats and traits, so it might get confusing for some

How Does The TFT Champion Pool Work

All champions only have a certain chance where they will appear in the store. It differs per level of the player. For example, a particular champion (Tier 5) will have a 5% chance to appear in the shop when the player is level 7.

Still, this percentage will get bigger as the level increases, or they get an augment that increases the chance of the appearance of these champions

How Many Champions Can you Own In Teamfight Tactics?

There is a usual misunderstanding where you can only own up to 10 champions on the board. However, there is actually no capping in the number of units that you can own from the champion pool.

So, if you want different champions that have different abilities, varying magic resist, different grants of bonus magic damage, increasing attack damage, or choose a specific unit that attacks or pulls the farthest enemy.

‍There is also a belief that players can not play unbought champions in League of Legends.

Teamfight Tactics is a different game compared to League of Legends even though it uses the same champions with the same champion name. However, it does use almost the same combat animations and skills that many both TFT and LoL players will recognize.

Can You Force The Appearance of Certain Champions In The Shop?

No. Even though most players would like to force champions to appear in the shop while they roll, it is impossible to force the appearance of certain champions in the pool.

It cannot be denied that some players do not want to play a worse champion, but everyone has the same draw chances every time they roll (depending on the level).

But do not fret, since you can always force compositions in Teamfight Tactics by playing the same champions every game. For example, some players want to play a carry that deals true damage or great physical damage, they can roll every single chance they get.

That ends the guide that teaches all about TFT champions and how many are there. Remember, each of them has different traits and stats, such as distinct damage dealt per second, costs, etc.

Remember, Riot Games continues to add units in the TFT champion pool that resemble the League of Legends champions, so it will definitely increase over time.
